Marvel’s Newest Hero Is K-pop Star Luna Snow

New Marvel character Luna Snow is a K-pop star-turned-superhero from South Korea with ice-based powers who recently made her debut in Netmarble’s role-playing mobile game Marvel: Future Fight.

“We were very glad to have the opportunity to create a Korean character. It was enjoyable but we also felt the pressure to show a unique character that also fits well in the Marvel Universe,” said Min Kyun Kim, Development Director at Netmarble Monster in an email interview with IGN. “But we’ve been working with Marvel’s characters in our games for quite some time now and we are based in South Korea, so we thought we would be most suitable in creating such character.

Deadpool 2 Is More Like Aliens, Says Co-Creator

Deadpool 2 will be a bigger and more action heavy sequel, according to Deadpool co-creator Rob Liefeld.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Liefeld teased what fans can expect from the upcoming film, comparing Deadpool 2 to the beloved second installment in the Alien franchise, 1986's Aliens. According to Liefeld, while the first Deadpool is more like the original Alien movie, the sequel, like Aliens, ups the ante in a major way.

"Deadpool was Alien," Liefeld said. "It's brilliant. It completely works. It's a masterpiece. Deadpool 2 is Aliens. It's when James Cameron came in and said, 'OK you want me to do this? We're going to make it bigger, put in loads more action.'"

The MacBook Air may be Apple's entry-level laptop, but that doesn't mean it's a slouch—or that it's inexpensive. Even though there are pricier, more technologically-equipped MacBooks, you'll still want to keep this little laptop safe, especially since it's so thin and somewhat fragile-feeling. The MacBook Air has been around for quite some time, so there are plenty of cases, bags, and sleeves to choose from. If you're in the market for some extra protection, this is where you'll want to look. These are the best Macbook Air cases and skins:

The Witcher: 15 Actors Who Could Play Geralt in the Netflix Series

The Witcher's Geralt of Rivia is one of the most iconic characters in all of games, so whoever is chosen to carry the mantle of the legendary White Wolf in the upcoming Netflix series will have plenty of expectations to live up to. Thankfully, Netflix has a proven track record when it comes to investing in big-budget productions like Daredevil and Altered Carbon, which is a good sign for fans of The Witcher, since the series will undoubtedly need a large budget to achieve the same scope that the novels and video games have already established.

In anticipation of Netflix's journey into the expansive world that author Andrzej Sapkowski created, we've compiled a diverse list of 15 actors we think capable of portraying Geralt. The White Wolf may have Polish roots, but we still don't know what direction the story will follow, so we wanted our dream casting call to include more than one ethnic group. There's also still no word on when in Geralt's life the series will take place, so we made sure to consider some younger actors who could rise to the challenge if called upon.

Venom Teaser Trailer Hints at Eddie Brock’s Transformation

The first teaser trailer for Sony's Venom has arrived, coming the day after the studio unveiled the official teaser poster for the upcoming comic book adaptation. Check out the teaser trailer below:

The first official footage from the upcoming movie focuses heavily on Tom Hardy's Eddie Brock and less so on story. Notably absent in the trailer is the Venom symbiote itself, though there are plenty of other Easter eggs and moments of note in the minute-long video. Stay tuned for our full trailer breakdown, coming later today.

Venom wrapped filming a couple of weeks ago, so chances are Venom isn't present in this trailer simply because the footage of the iconic Marvel character wasn't ready for the world to see -- especially since the film still has plenty of post-production work in the months ahead before its October 5th release date. Still, the movie is leaning heavily on the symbiote for its marketing, with both the final shot of the teaser trailer and the teaser poster lingering on a minimalist version of Venom's signature eyes on a black background.

Hands-on With Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom’s Awesome Battle System

The original Ni No Kuni remains one of the absolute best traditional JRPGs that the PlayStation 3 has to offer, so it’s no surprise that we were super stoked to hear that the sequel, Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom, is just around the corner. While the incredibly-talented Studio Ghibli is no longer involved this time around, developer Level-5 has continually given us confidence that this follow-up is in good hands.

We got a chance to play about four hours of Revenant Kingdom, which included all manners of its new, incredibly expansive gameplay. Here are three major reasons why we’re excited for its March release.
