New Halo Comic Miniseries Announced

Jessica Jones Season 2 Reveals Episode Titles Via These Awesome Pulp Covers
Season 2 of Marvel's Jessica Jones is making its debut on Netflix on March 8 - coinciding with International Women's Day - and Netflix has released a gorgeous pulp cover for each of the 13 episodes, illustrated by a bevy of female artists.
The covers are a delightful homage to Jessica Jones' pulp hero comic book origins, and contain a smattering of clues as to what we can expect this season.
The first three titles - Start at the Beginning, Freak Accident, and Sole Survivor - suggest we might be digging deeper into Jessica's past and origins. Jessica's family was killed in a freak car accident, leaving her the sole survivor. Episode seven's I Want Your Cray Cray also seems to harken back to those events, with Jessica on her knees in the foreground while a fiery car wreck blazes behind her.
Star Wars’ Snoke Kept Mysterious to Allow for Possible Prequel
Snoke actor Andy Serkis has addressed some of the backlash over his character's blank backstory in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, saying it was kept intentionally mysterious to allow for possible future films or stories.
Speaking to EW about his performance, Serkis explained: "We wanted him to have a great deal of mystery
J.J.
and I discussed it, and Rian
and I did discuss backstories to him, where he came from. I’ve been asked to not shed anything, should we want to bring him back in any way whether
prequel or whatever."
The lack of explanation for where Snoke came from and how he ascended to power has been one of the Star Wars fandom's biggest questions since The Force Awakens was released, and has been a cornerstone of some of the backlash The Last Jedi received.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Logo Possibly Revealed by NBA Star
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's logo appears to have been revealed by NBA star James Harden.
The Houston Rockets' star player showed up to his game against Oklahoma City Thunder wearing a black hat with a familiar looking logo, as seen in a tweet by ESPN:
The Beard has arrived, and he's ready for battle with the Thunder. pic.twitter.com/ky3E8TK9Hy
— NBA on ESPN (@ESPNNBA) March 7, 2018
Call of Duty fans were quick to point out that the orange lines on his hat were heavily reminiscent of the numerals used in the logos for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and 3. Of course you might expect Black Ops 4 to be displayed as "IV" rather than "IIII", but the resemblance is undeniable.

John Travolta to Star in Thriller Directed by Limp Bizkit Frontman Fred Durst
John Travolta will star in the movie Moose, a thriller directed by Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst.
Variety reports that principal photography for the film, which was co-written by Durst alongside Dave Bekerman, has begun in Alabama.
Travolta leads the film playing Moose, a crazed fan obsessed with a movie star played by Devon Sawa. The story is inspired by a fan who stalked Durst and follows Moose's fixation as it grows into intent on destroying the celebrity's life.
This is not Durst's directing debut, as the rap-rock frontman previously helmed feature films The education of Charlie Banks and The Longshots.
Black Lightning Star Breaks Down That Shocking Ending
Spoiler warning: This interview contains plot details for Black Lightning Season 1, episode 7, titled "Equinox: The Book of Fate."
The body count has been pretty high on Black Lightning so far, but judging by the end of episode 7, death might not be as permanent as we feared.
After seeing Tobias choke out local drug dealer Lala in jail at the end of episode 2, it seemed like a major player had been taken off the board pretty early -- but in a shocking twist (pun intended), the final moments of "Equinox: The Book of Fate" revealed that not only is Lala somehow "alive," something seriously supernatural is going on in Freeland. LaWanda White -- or at least some kind of entity that looks like her -- was there to greet Lala when he woke, cryptically asking whether he believes in the resurrection before turning into dust and transferring herself into a tattoo that branded itself on his chest.
Universal Announces Pokémon Go-Style Jurassic World Mobile Game
Universal has announced a Pokémon Go-style mobile game dubbed Jurassic World Alive. Coming soon to iOS and Android, Jurassic World Alive will allow players to build a collection of dinosaurs, create their own creatures using hybrid DNA, and pit their dinosaurs against other players’ dinos in battle.
Jurassic World Alive is being pitched as a map-based collect-’em-up à la Pokémon Go, though one key difference is that players don’t necessarily need to leave the house to capture dinosaurs (an in-game drone can be dispatched to collect DNA for Muldoon-types hesitant to just stroll down the road).
“There's definitely that element of discovery, but we wanted to make it a little more flexible and also give you something to do at home,” says Chris Heatherly, Universal’s executive VP of games, via Mashable.
How Pacific Rim 3 Will Be Different From Its Predecessors
John Boyega makes the leap from fighting the First Order in Star Wars to battling Kaiju in Pacific Rim: Uprising, which hits theaters March 23. Boyega is also a producer on this sequel to the Guillermo del Toro-directed original and, should Uprising prove a hit, he expects to produce any potential third installment.
But after two films of human-piloted giant Jaegers battling Kaiju, how could a Pacific Rim 3 shake things up?
Boyega offered the following notion during my phone interview with him Tuesday: "We'll probably have to go to their world this time."
He added that any potential human infiltration of the Breach would likely involve tech and weaponry new to the series.
