George Miller’s Unmade Justice League Movie: Cast Photo Revealed
A cast photo from George Miller's Justice League movie that never came to be has surfaced, giving us a look at all of the character costumes for the first time in 10 years.
Collider (via Batman News) got its hands on a test photo, and while it's not a high-res image, it does give us an idea as to what the superhero team would have looked like.
Nintendo Opens Its E3 2018 Website
Although we're still a few months away from this year's E3, with conferences beginning June 10 and the expo floor opening up between June 12 and 14, that doesn't mean that the bigwigs of the gaming industry haven't already started setting their plans in motion, as evidenced by Nintendo's unveiling of its own E3 website.
Although the site itself is currently quite bare-boned, with just a promise that more details will be announced further down the line, the site does feature a reminder about Nintendo's two major tournaments that will be running throughout E3, with both the Super Smash Bros International and the Splatoon 2 World Championship getting a plug.
Lagiacrus Will Not be in Monster Hunter: World
One of the Monster Hunter series' flagship monsters, the leviathan Lagiacrus, will not be making an appearance in Monster Hunter World's future content updates.
During a postmortem at GDC, Game Director Yuya Tokuda confirmed that that the formidable Lord of the Sea isn't planned to rear its head in the title, although it was present in the game's prototype.
The prototype gameplay footage, worked on for a year and a half, was used to demonstrate the new environmental systems, proving that a hunter could survive confrontations without drawing their weapon, and relying on environmental features alone.
It followed a hunter tracking an Anjanath through what looked like the Ancient Forest area from the finished game, and being pursued up a cliff. The confrontation ended with the pair being swept off the cliff in a cascading waterfall, with the Lagiacrus emerging from the water to finish off the Anjanath.

The Adventure Pals Arrives On All Platforms Next Month
Developer Massive Monster has announced that its Kickstarter-funded platformer The Adventure Pals, published by Armor Games, will be arriving simultaneously on all platforms, coming to PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on April 3.
The Adventure Pals is a side-scrolling action-adventure platformer which features RPG elements and two-player local drop-in/drop-out co-operative play. The game definitely leans towards the whimsical - whilst playing through its 105 levels, players can expect to encounter "zombie pirate cats, post-apocalyptic dinosaurs and hot dogs that poop explosive mines", which is an image that may stay with you forever.
Pacific Rim Uprising’s 5 Biggest WTF Questions
Pacific Rim Uprising has rolled into theaters like a giant robot about to take on a kaiju. And while the continued adventures of the Pentecost family have been met with a mixed reaction from fans, one thing is undeniable:
Whatever you think of Uprising, there are some serious WTF questions to be found in this film. Let’s break them down!
When we first meet Cailee Spaeny’s character Amara, she’s built Scrapper, her own mini-Jaeger, out of used parts and junk. And even though Scrapper is put out of commission soon after, you just know the cute, rolly-poley Jaeger will resurface for the final battle. Which he totally does!
The thing is, that showdown takes place in Tokyo, far away from the Jaeger base in China. A whole show is made about how our heroes have to jury-rig rocket boosters to get the giant robots all the way to Japan in time to stop the invading kaiju. But then just when the going gets tough, Scrapper is helicoptered in to help save the day. And he basically arrives only minutes after the rocket-boosted Jaegers! Making this even more confusing is the fact that Scrapper was presumably located even further away from the Jaeger base to begin with. What can we say but… that’s just how Scrapper rolls…
Atari Says Its System is a Less Ambitious Steam Machine
At GDC this week, I got an up-close look at the Atari VCS. Atari’s upcoming home machine, originally referred to simply as the ‘Atari Box’, is very different from what I was expecting, and it’s likely not what you think it is either.
It’s not Atari’s version of the NES Mini, it’s not a console trying to compete with the Xbox One or PS4, and it’s not really an Atari-Ouya. Put as simply as possible, the Atari VCS is a Linux-based living room PC, similar to Atari’s take on a Steam Machine. The version I saw was just for display, but I got a rundown of what to expect in the final product.
Toys R Us Founder Dead at 94
Toys "R" Us' founder, Charles Lazarus, has passed away.
According to Bloomberg, Lazarus, aged 94, died Thursday. According to a Toys "R" Us spokesperson, Lazarus was known "for his positive energy, passion for the customer and love for children everywhere."
Lazarus opened the first location in Maryland in 1957, and a combination of the store's wide array of toys, competitive pricing, and reliability helped to push the toy industry from being one focused largely on Christmas, to one which could thrive all year-round.
When he was a child, Lazarus helped his father repair broken bicycles and sell them. Later, when he took over his father's shop, he began to sell baby furniture before switching to selling toys. Originally the store was called Children's Supermart, but when he expanded and opened the first toy-specific location in Maryland, he changed the name to Toys "R" Us.
