How Avengers: Infinity War Will Create a ‘New Playground’ for Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD

While answering a fan question at WonderCon’s panel for Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD, showrunner Jed Whedon explained how the events of May’s Avengers: Infinity War will impact the show.

“When Doctor Strange came out it introduced us to magic which gave us Ghost Rider. When

came out, we were introduced to space. We are waiting for

to come out so it can open a new playground for us," Whedon told the crowd.

As Whedon explained, the TV show often looks to the movies to inspire what concepts and characters it will focus on each season. The current Season 5 already seemed to be sharing a theme with Infinity War given that a good chunk of it has taken place in space and dealt with aliens, but it sounds like whatever happens in Infinity War will offer up brand new elements for the show to explore. Season 5 will be wrapping up when Infinity War hits on April 27, so whether we get to see any of them will depend on if Agents of SHIELD gets renewed for a sixth season.

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice Gets Xbox One Release Date

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice will be released for Xbox One on April 11.

News of Hellblade coming to Xbox One isn't especially surprising given the game was rated for Xbox One by Taiwan's Game Software Ratings board earlier this year.

How I Hacked Bloodborne and Found Never-Before-Seen Content

Since its release in 2015, Bloodborne has amassed an enormous and passionate following, full of people who want to discover the secrets hidden in the deep and often vague lore of Yharnam. What makes that world even more intriguing are the mysteries hidden in the game’s internal content, which was uploaded to the internet by an anonymous user in 2017. It contains characters, creatures, maps, sounds, music, and scripts stored on the game’s Blu-Ray Disc, most of which never made it into the final game at all. My name is Lance McDonald, and I’ve spent the past three months uncovering parts of Bloodborne that have never been seen, until now.

From even a cursory glance at trailers and pre-release footage, it’s clear that Bloodborne went through many significant changes during development, and the alpha files that were built only 9 months prior to the game’s release confirm that. The storyline and characters are dramatically different to what would eventually ship, and as a result, there’s plenty of unused data left behind on the game’s disc. For one, there’s model data for about twenty enemies and characters that would be wholly unfamiliar to anyone who played Bloodborne.

Ni No Kuni Dev Teases MMO-Scale ‘Modern Day’ Project

Level-5, the studio behind popular series like Yo-Kai Watch, Professor Layton, and Ni No Kuni, has teased what lies ahead for the developer as it celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.

According to Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino, the studio's next game will have a "modern day" setting, rather than a fantasy one, with an ambitious scale akin to that of a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG).

"We do have an idea. I’m not sure if we can call it an MMORPG or not, but

to make a big title on the same scale as one," Hino said in the latest installment of 4Gamer.net's interview series Harada Kills (via Gematsu).

Fear TWD: What to Expect from Morgan’s Arrival in Season 4

With Morgan soon making his debut on Fear the Walking Dead as the first crossover character between it and the mothership, The Walking Dead, the cast and crew of Fear headed to WonderCon 2018 to tease what fans can expect when the series returns for its fourth season on April 15.

Unsurprisingly, what fans can expect from Morgan's arrival on Fear was a big topic of discussion at the panel. Morgan has often been known as a man of peace, but he can also be an effective killer when he needs to be. Lennie James commented comically on his character's duality, saying, "If you're going to kill, you might as well kill everyone, and if you're not going to kill, then you shouldn't kill anybody."

Silicon Valley Creator on Why T.J. Miller Departed Show

When the fifth season of HBO's Silicon Valley premieres tomorrow, viewers will notice Erlich Bachman is no longer part of the Pied Piper gang, and reports about why that is the case have come to light.

T.J. Miller, who played Bachman, left the show after Season 4 wrapped up last year. Initially, no reasons were given for Miller's departure, though HBO said that the split was mutual.

Mike Judge, the creator and executive producer of the hit series, has since provided some context for Miller's departure. "

not fun to work with someone who doesn't want to be there,

Star Trek: Discovery to Introduce Section 31 in Season 2

Star Trek: Discovery just gave us a massive hint about Season 2 and the trajectory of the Mirror Universe's former Emperor Georgiou thanks to a "secret scene" cut from the Season 1 finale that was shown during the show's WonderCon panel on Saturday.

The cut scene sees Mirror Georgiou running a club on Kronos when she's approached by a mystery man who she mistakes for a member of Starfleet. He tells her that he's not, and that his organization is "far more resourceful," and that he believes Georgiou would be "a valuable asset" to them. He offers her the chance to "exert some influence over the fate of this galaxy," rather than slumming it on Kronos, and leaves her with a mysterious black box. When Georgiou opens it, it contains a black version of the Starfleet insignia badge, leaving her with one passing remark: "Welcome to Section 31."

The 100 Writers Take Aim at DC’s Green Arrow Comic

The 100 writers Julie and Shawna Benson will be taking over DC Comics' Green Arrow comic book series. The sister duo will start their run with May's Green Arrow Annual #2 with art by Carmen Carnero, and they'll make their series debut with August's Green Arrow #43 by artist Javier Fernández.

DC readers will recognize the Bensons from their work on Batgirl and the Birds of Prey. They will be ending their run on that series as they move on to the adventures of Oliver Queen. They've also made a name for themselves as writers on Seasons 3-5 of The 100.

“As we mourn the loss of our beloved Birds, hope in the form of an arrow has struck us through the heart with the opportunity to take on Oliver Queen,” the Bensons said in a joint statment. “Ollie's made a few appearances alongside the Birds since we began writing at DC with Rebirth, and we can't wait to continue making our mark on the 77-year old marksman this summer. And we won't be leaving our ladies behind! Black Canary, aka Ollie's 'Pretty Bird,' will continue to star in Green Arrow.”
