Mark Hamill Fine With Digitally Recreated Luke Skywalker in Future Star Wars Movies

Mark Hamill is totally fine with being digitally re-created in any future Star Wars movies.

Speaking to RadioTimes, the Luke Skywalker actor said that he would "absolutely" be fine with being digitally recreated a la Peter Cushing in Rogue One, or recast with a younger actor a la Alden Ehrenreich in Solo.

“Well already I told my family ‘Absolutely – thumbs up!’” he said.

“But it is a question of propriety really. I’m sure they had to go to the Cushing estate and get their permission.”

Hamill said that he was very sure that Star Wars stories would continue to be told well after his death, and was happy for Luke Skywalker to be a part of them. "You know, it’s amazing to me – George

Stranger Things creators Matt and Ross Duffer have been accused of stealing ideas for Stranger Things from a short film called Montauk.

Charlie Kessler, the director of the aforementioned short film, filed a lawsuit today, Deadline reports. All I said was that it wouldn't be titled Flashpoint. But maybe I've said too much."

The Secrets Behind Middle-earth: Shadow of War’s Nemesis System

When Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor was released in 2014, developer Monolith Productions realized something surprising: The best players had the worst experience. This was because of the Nemesis System, which expected players to die now and then so it could personalize their interactions with the many orcs and Uruks. The players who didn't die missed out on that key feature.

This was just one of the many details Monolith wanted to address for the sequel, Middle-earth: Shadow of War. I sat down with Director Michael de Plater for a deep dive on the upgraded Nemesis System, the stories he wanted to tell, and how he made the player the one thing the orcs of Middle-earth fear. Check out the latest episode of IGN's Expert Mode:

What Will Avengers 4 Be Titled? The Comics Offer Some Clues

Thanks to Marvel Studios’ long term planning, we usually know the titles of every movie coming out for the next several years, but Avengers 4 has proven to be an exception to the rule. Avengers: Infinity War hits on April 27 and we know that Avengers 4 (opening May 3, 2019) will be a direct follow-up to the events of that movie. We’re pretty sure it's when the Infinity War credits roll that we’ll finally have the title revealed a la “Tony Stark will return” at the end of Iron Man 3. But rather than wait that long, we’ve turned to the comics to suss out what the title will be.

Recently, the Russo brothers, who are directing both of these Avengers flicks, responded to a fan on Twitter who said they were scared of what the mystery title might be. Their response? “You should.” As innocuous as that might sound, it’s actually a big clue that points to two different titles from the comics.
