Skybound Announces New Games Publishing Division
Robert Kirkman’s Skybound Entertainment has announced Skybound Games, a new division of the multiplatform company dedicated to publishing indie games.
Skybound’s new gaming venture will bring two previously released games to retail for the first time this September: Hinterland Studio’s The Long Dark and Monomi Park’s Slime Rancher, which have sold over 2 million and 1.3 million copies to date, respectively.
Dark Nights: Metal Didn’t Do Justice to Sandman
It's no surprise that Dark Nights: Metal was one of the top-selling comics of 2017. The series featured the long-awaited reunion between writer Scott Snyder and artist Greg Capullo on a Batman epic bigger than any they had worked on before. But the series also had another major element working in its favor. The first issue ended with the reveal that Batman had turned to none other than Dream of the Endless for help in his massive new case. As exciting as the prospect of a Batman/Sandman crossover was, that's one area where Metal failed to deliver.
Neil Gaiman's Sandman saga may technically be set within the DC Universe, but actual crossovers between DC's heroes and characters like Dream and Death are extremely rare. The Endless are very high up on the cosmic hierarchy in the DCU, and the struggles of heroes like Batman and Superman are generally beneath their notice. What importance is the fate of a city or even an entire world when you have all of reality to worry about? That's what made Dream's surprise appearance in Metal #1 such a big deal. If the threat of the villainous Barbatos was so dire that even a member of the Endless felt obligated to become involved, that's an ominous sign, indeed.
Westworld: The Missing Characters Returning for Season 2

Westworld may not be quite as densely packed as Game of Thrones, but there are a lot of characters and plot threads to keep track of. We've put together a handy slideshow that breaks down all the major characters in Season 2 and what they've been up to lately. Spoilers follow for Season 1.

Warner Bros. Becomes Hitman Publisher

Last year, Square Enix withdrew its ownership of Io, but the Danish developer retained the Hitman license.

PUBG Dev Plans to Disable Keyboard and Mouse Support for Console
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds console players that use third party devices like Xim to play with a keyboard and mouse won't be able to do so forever.
When asked whether there were any plans to curb console players' use of keyboard and mouse in the game, PUBG's community coordinator Dan "RoboDanjal" tweeted that they have been "gathering in-game information regarding third party device usage over the past few months.
"Although usage of these devices is statistically very low, fair gameplay is core to our experience, and we will be communicating our plan to curb the use of these devices soon."
