Ex-Valiant Hearts Dev Announces New Game

11-11: Memories Retold is a new narrative adventure game from Valiant Hearts creative director Yoan Fanise and his team at DigixArt.

Focusing on World War I, the game is being made in partnership with Bandai Namco and Aardman Animation Studios, which is behind movies like Early Man and Shaun the Sheep.

"It's a part of history that touches me personally, as my great-grandfather fought in the trenches, he lost a leg and his brother there," Fanise said. "This is only one family story among so many others sadly."

Aquaman Footage Was Shown at CinemaCon

The first footage from Warner Bros.' Aquaman film was debuted at CinemaCon in LA yesterday - but it was very much a work-in-progress.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the footage showed Aquaman "pulling a submarine out of the water, what appeared to be shark horses and vistas of Atlantean skyscrapers." Yahya Abdul-Mateen II's Black Manta and Patrick Wilson's Ocean Master also made an appearance.

THR reports that director James Wan made it clear that the footage was not an official teaser trailer. "I didn't want to bring anything, but they made me," he joked.

Jason Momoa Tells CinemaCon the Best Batman Isn’t Ben Affleck

Jason Momoa was at CinemaCon this week, and the Justice League star broke Ben Affleck's heart when he told Will Arnett that he is the best Batman.

Warner Bros. debuted footage from James Wan's upcoming Aquaman film, and Will Arnett was the emcee at the event. Momoa was in attendance with Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. "You are the best f**king Batman," Momoa told Arnett, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Arnett portrayed the caped crusader in the LEGO Batman movie last year. In our review, we said his "gravelly tones and deadpan delivery are perfect for this reclusive, grumpy incarnation of the character," with Arnett giving us a Batman that is "vulnerable and still likeable."

Venom Has Everyone Debating the Pronunciation of “Symbiote”

Sym-BYE-ote, or sym-BEE-ote? That seems to be the big question coming out of the first full Venom trailer. Instead of debating about the likelihood of Carnage ending up in the movie or Venom's potential connection to Spider-Man, it's Jenny Slate's character who has been sparking the most discussion because of her pronunciation of "symbiote" -- well, at least after people finished talking about that Venom reveal.

In the trailer, Slate repeatedly pronounces the word as "sym-BYE-ote" instead of "sym-BEE-ote," which has driven such a spike in proper pronunciation search traffic that Merriam-Webster officially responded to the debate.
