Warframe’s New Update Adds Survival Mode to Console
Warframe's Beasts of the Sanctuary update is now live on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The update, which launched on PC in April, adds a new Warframe and a brand new team-based survival mode called Sanctuary Onslaught.
Players can also participate in the Plague Star Event, which runs between now and Monday, May 21.
Khora, the first new Warframe of 2018, is armed with a metallic whip and has a number of offensive and defensive abilities, notably a summonable metal kavat companion that can cycle between attack, protect, and heal postures.
Sanctuary Onslaught is the new wave-based survival mode playable solo or in a squad of up to four teammates. Players traverse through timed portals while battling hordes of enemies.
YouTube Red’s Cobra Kai Renewed for Second Season
Cobra Kai is returning to fight another day as the YouTube Red series has been renewed for Season 2.
Like Season 1, the second season will also contain 10 half-hour episodes. Production begins this fall with Season 2 premiering in 2019. Ralph Macchio and William Zabka will reprise their roles as Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence.
The first episode of the critically-acclaimed series has garnered over 20 million views since its debut on May 4. Alongside Macchio and Zabka, Xolo Mariduena, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser, and Courtney Henggeler are also returning for Season 2.
The critically-acclaimed Cobra Kai takes place decades after the original Karate Kid movies, and follows a down-and-out Johnny trying to reopen the infamous Cobra Kai karate dojo. Meanwhile, a successful Daniel has been struggling to maintain balance in his life without his mentor, Mr. Miyagi.
Rick and Morty Renewed For 70 More Episodes
Rick and Morty is officially coming back, and it'll be returning with many new episodes.
Justin Roiland revealed on Twitter with a sketch of the titular duo, confirming that Rick and Morty will be back for 70 more episodes. Adult Swim confirmed the news, retweeting Roiland's announcement and simply saying "What Justin said."

Devolver Digital Unveils New SNES Game With Profits Going to Charity
Devolver Digital has revealed it is working on a SNES game, with all profits going to the mental health charity Take This.
'Fork Parker's Crunch Out' is a game starring Devolver Digital's fictional CFO Fork Parker, where players take "a ragtag group of game developers from a downtrodden garage studio to a high-rise mega-corporation"
Playing as Parker, players will use "questionable motivation tactics" such as "coffee, discipline and shock treatment" to ensure employees remain on schedule.
Riverdale’s Latest Episode Ended With a Batman Easter Egg
Riverdale showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa has revealed that last night's episode featured a Batman Easter egg.

The Easter egg lies in the final shot of last night's episode. In fact, the final shot is the Easter egg. Jughead found himself on the wrong end of a brutal beat-down courtesy of the Ghoulies and his battered body was carried out of the woods by his father at the end of the episode, mirroring a panel from Batman's A Death in the Family story arc.

Microsoft has unveiled a special custom Xbox One X themed after Black Panther for the movie's home release.
There will only be five of these Xbox One X systems, says Microsoft. And the console will come with themed controllers and Black Panther on 4K Blu-ray.

Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate Announced for Nintendo Switch
Capcom has announced Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate for Nintendo Switch.
Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate will be released exclusively on Switch on August 28. You'll be able to play local wireless and online multiplayer with up to three other hunters for the first time.
You can transfer your original Monster Hunter Generations save data to continue your adventure in Ultimate.
Players will go up against the largest roster of unique monsters and must defend four villages from major threats known as the Fated Four. You'll also be battling the dangerous new Elder Dragon, exploring new areas, completing quests for resources, and can look forward to returning fan-favorites like Zinogre and the Nargacuga.
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy Coming Earlier Than Expected on PC, Switch and Xbox One
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will be released a few weeks earlier than expected on Switch, PC, and Xbox One.
Activision announced in a recent blog post the collection, originally slated to come out on July 10, will now be released on June 29. You can pre-order the trilogy here.
The N. Sane Trilogy is a remade collection of the first three Crash Bandicoot games and came out for PlayStation 4 on June 30, 2017. The trilogy was confirmed for other platforms back in March. This will be the first time the original Crash, Cortex Strikes Back, and Warped will appear off PlayStation systems.

According to a report from The Hollywood Reporter, Infinity War may be the first summer blockbuster to reach the $2 billion milestone at the worldwide box office. All three films that made over $2 billion during their theatrical runs were released in December, but Earth's Mightiest Heroes appear ready for the challenge.
Nintendo, Sony Update Their Warranty Policies Following FTC Warning
Nintendo and Sony have both updated their warranty policies after receiving FTC warnings.
The FTC reached out to Sony and Nintendo last month, along with four other companies that reportedly included Microsoft, Hyundai, HTC, and ASUS, according to GamesIndusty.biz. The companies were warned that their warranty policies were "deceptive under the FTC Act" and were given 30 days to comply, with the threat of legal action if they failed to do so.
