Rocket League Outlines Summer 2018 Roadmap

Psyonix has released the latest roadmap for the upcoming content coming to Rocket League over the next few months.

Detailed on the Rocket League website, the summer 2018 roadmap starts in late May with the start of season 8's competitive season. Players can expect their season 7 rewards as well as a brand new arena, new in-game music, and more.

June will bring a summer-themed event and new licensed DLC. On June 8, the RLCS World Championships will kick off in London and will be streamed live on Twitch.

As per usual, July will see the annual Rocket League birthday celebrations with anniversary events and loot.

Justice League Gets a Colorful New Logo

The new logo that will be featured on the cover of DC Comics' upcoming relaunch of the Justice League comic has been revealed.

As reported by Newsarama, the colorful new Justice League logo will replace the logo seen on the cover of Justice League since its "New 52" relaunch seven years ago. See the new logo on the Justice League #1 blank variant, alongside the previous logo, below:

Fox Cancels Last Man on Earth, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and The Mick

Fox has canceled three comedies, including The Last Man on Earth and Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

Variety reports The Last Man on Earth has been canceled after four seasons. The series was created by writer-producer Will Forte and directors-producers Christopher Miller and Phil Lord, and follows a small group of survivors of a deadly virus.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine lasted for five seasons on Fox and recently hit its 99th and 100th episodes. The show is set in the 99th precinct of the NYPD and stars Andy Samberg, Andre Braugher, Terry Crews, and Melissa Fumero, among a few others.

Sea of Thieves’ Private Crews Patch Now Live

Update: Sea of Thieves' latest patch is now available for download for PC and Xbox One players, adding the ability to choose private or open pirate crews.

Sea of Thieves will now present players with two choices — Open Crews will allow players to assemble crews as they're used, while the Closed Crews option lets a player start a game, which friends can then join when available.

Sea of Thieves Crews Options

This option prevents non-friends from joining. Any number of friends up to the limit on each ship can join a closed crew, with this option replacing the 3-player Galleon and Solo Sloop options.

Marvel’s Crazy Venom Twist Changes the History of the Symbiote

If you thought you knew the history of Venom’s symbiote, then think again. Writer Donny Cates and artist Ryan Stegman just introduced a new twist to the symbiote mythology in Venom #1, a brand new series that is part of Marvel Comics’ “Fresh Start” relaunch.

It turns out that there were symbiotes on Earth long before Spider-Man returned from Secret Wars wearing a black-and-white suit that turned out to be a symbiotic alien creature. Venom #1 starts with a flashback to ancient times showing a symbiote attacking and killing a group of soldiers. The symbiotes were being controlled by a red-skinned being with a fanged mouth who spoke in a strange, unintelligible tongue.

Black Panther Director Ryan Coogler Open to Female-Led Spinoff

Black Panther director Ryan Coogler spoke to reporters at the Cannes Film Festival and revealed some interesting insights into what could be in store for the Marvel Studios' franchise.

According to Variety, the topic of a female-led spin-off was a hot topic when the moderator, Elvis Mitchell, asked Coogler about the idea. The director seemed open to the possibility. “Oh man," Coogler said. "That would be amazing if the opportunity came up. They did it in the comic-book version.”

When Coogler was asked if the women of Wakanda were just as important as the men, he said, "I think you could argue they are more important."
