Star Wars Toys are Better Again, Sort Of

There are almost as many different Star Wars toys as there are stars in the sky, and there are almost as many different varieties, too. There are some really awesome Star Wars toys, and some of the lines aimed at collectors are absolutely top-shelf. But then there are the mass-market figures that vary in quality. Those old Kenner figures definitely scratched the Star Wars itch back in the 1980s, but by modern standards they're really primitive.
That's not to say those old figures aren't charming as hell, and I think eBay prices will back me up, but as far as quality of sculpt and articulation, we've come a long way. But the increase in quality isn't a straight line. There have been... some dips. The Force Awaken toys were a bit of a step back in terms of Star Wars figures, but it looks like the toys for Solo have brought the toys back to a pretty decent level of quality.

Avengers: Infinity War Directors Joe and Anthony Russo have finally revealed what happened to the off screen Marvel characters after Thanos snapped his fingers, killing half of the universe's population.
In an interview with the Huffington Post, the Russo brothers confirmed the fate of some of the Avengers, while describing others as too spoilery to reveal at this moment. Hopefully, that means the characters they chose not to mention will come back for Avengers 4, or another future MCU film. Here's the list, according to the outlet.

Chris Evans to Star in New Disaster Thriller From District 9 Director
Chris Evans and District 9 director Neill Blomkamp are teaming up for the new disaster thriller, Greenland.
The movie centers on one family's fight for survival during a cataclysmic natural disaster. Not much else about the plot is currently known. Principal photography will begin in the last quarter of 2018, but there's no release date set yet.
Anton is producing the project along with Thunder Road’s Basil Iwanyk. Sébastien Raybaud, Harold van Lier, Nik Bower, and Deepak Nayar are executive producing. STXinternational is handling international distribution.
“Greenland is the kind of highly commercial genre fare that sees Neill Blomkamp doing what he does best: delivering a smart, fresh, high concept narrative in a world we can easily recognize,” David Kosse said, president of STXinternational.

MCU Has ‘Plans’ to Introduce Ms. Marvel After Captain Marvel
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has confirmed there are "plans" to introduce Ms. Marvel into the MCU after Captain Marvel.
"Captain Marvel's shooting right now with Brie Larson. Ms. Marvel, which is another character in the comic books, the Muslim hero who is inspired by Captain Marvel, is definitely sort of in the works," Feige told BBC (via Twitter user @StaarksHeart). "We have plans for that once we’ve introduced Captain Marvel to the world."
Ms. Marvel/Kamala Khan first appeared in Captain Marvel #14 and then got her own solo series, dubbed Ms. Marvel, which debuted in February 2014. Read our review of Ms. Marvel #1.

20 New Fantastic Four Variant Covers From Marvel Comics
The original Fantastic Four are returning to Marvel Comics in August. That's right, Sue, Reed, Johnny, and Ben are back for an all-new set of adventures.
According to Newsweek, Amazing Spider-Man alum Dan Slott will be writing the monthly series, with Miles Morales artist Sara Pichelli on drawing duties. To celebrate this momentous event, Marvel Comics, along with some of the industries best artists, have created 20 incredible variant covers, "highlighting the team during their many different and memorable eras in Marvel Comics," according to the press release.
