Everything That’s Gone Wrong for the Crew on AMC’s The Terror
Warning: Full spoilers for AMC's The Terror up to the penultimate Season 1 episode, "The C, the C, the Open C."
"This place wants us dead."
Well, duh. It's an iced-over freezing hellscape blanketed in sub-zero temperatures and seasoned with seasons of darkness. But sure, let's go traipsing off, in 1845 to find a trade route through the Northwest Passage. There's no possible way for things to horribly and miserably awry, right?
Those of you watching AMC's The Terror - based on Dan Simmons' fictionalized account of Captain Sir John Franklin's lost expedition of HMS Erebus and HMS Terror in the Arctic - know that it's not just as simple as the surrounding land and sea not wanting humans meddling in its harsh, stoic business. Many things led to the dooming of this particular expedition. Despair, disease, um...demon bears - this trek was damned on all fronts.

Footage of Unused Super Mario Odyssey Costumes Includes Zombie Mario, New 8-Bit Look
Recent Super Mario Odyssey datamines have revealed a host of unsued costumes, including an undead costume with a Cappy axe wedged into the plumber's skull, and new video offers a look at them in action.
The last time we got a peek at some unreleased costumes was back in March, after the Luigi's Balloon update was scoured to reveal a bunch of Broodal costumes. Since then, YouTuber Mizumi has had a good old root around in the game's files and found even more.
Super Mario 64 Mod Could Be the Start of a Battle Royale Mode
The Battle Royale craze just got a little bigger with this Super Mario 64 mod that combines all of the game's original levels into one giant map.
Renowned modder Kaze Emanuar created the huge map for the possible creation of a Battle Royale mode. Players start by spinning downward, allowing them to land in any location. Cannons are used to quickly jump from one area to the next and coins are used to fuel power-ups like the Wing Cap that you can enable at any time. This hack serves more as a demo and the goal is simply to collect all the Stars by replaying a chunk of Super Mario 64 in one giant map.
This mode could be a game mode that's added to the newly updated Net64 2.0 client, which allows players to play Super Mario 64 and its many hacks with friends online. The most recent update added new game modes like Prop Hunt and Tag, along with new playable characters like Sonic and Goomba who join a cast that include Luigi, Peach, Rosalina, and of course, Waluigi.
