What’s New in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle’s Donkey Kong Adventure DLC?
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is a turn-based strategy adventure game, and Donkey Kong has been patiently waiting for his turn to join in on the action. So, get ready to go bananas with DK as a playable hero in the up-and-coming single-player DLC.
When Ubisoft began work on Donkey Kong as a playable character for Kingdom Battle they knew they had an opportunity to play around with some exciting new abilities. So, they gave him some fun new tricks that add an entirely new layer of strategy to an already superb tactics game.
Some battle maps have special platforms that let Donkey Kong swing all the way across to the other side of a level — which can be very advantageous during boss battles. He uses a Banana Boomerang as his primary weapon that can chain attack multiple enemies, and he can use his Konga Drums to lure enemies closer for an easy target. Donkey Kong can also throw characters and objects across the map, which seems to come in handy during most battles. It's a fun new mechanic that lets you cover more ground, while also dealing a little extra damage to any enemies in your way.
