As reported by Variety, Kurtzman will supervise the expansion of the Star Trek franchise in the form of a Starfleet Academy series, a limited series based around the "Wrath of Kahn" storyline, a second limited series that has yet to be disclosed and an animated series.
Additionally, The Hollywood Reporter's sources say that Kurtzman and Akiva Goldsman, who worked on Discovery during Season 1, are working on a Patrick Stewart project. Stewart of course played Captain Picard on Star Trek: The Next Generation. Whether or not this is the second limited series mentioned by Variety is unclear. According to THR, "CBS TV Studios declined to confirm the Stewart project as sources say a deal is far from completed and may not happen despite the fact that the actor recently teased his potential return to the franchise."
PUBG’s Sanhok Map Gets a Release Date
PUBG is getting a new map this week.
In a tweet this morning, PUBG Corp. revealed after four rounds of testing, Sanhok will release on PC Thursday as part of Patch #15.
Sanhok will be PUBG's third map, and it comes with its own exclusive weapon, the QBZ95, an assault rifle holding 30 rounds. The new QBZ95 assault rifle replaces the existing SCAR-L on Sanhok, and spawns about 1.4 times as often as the SCAR-L used to.
At just a quarter the size of the existing Erangel and Miramar maps, Sanhok will result in games typically ending more quickly. All matches will still feature PUBG's signature 100-player count, but several changes have been made to optimize the standard gameplay for the smaller map. For instance, the red zone is smaller and shorter-lasting while the blue zone has shorter waiting times, longer travel times, and adjusts both times based on remaining players.
