Latest Fortnite Fan Creation is a Giant Pyramid Over Wailing Woods

Fortnite didn't get its v4.5 patch update today, but that hasn't stopped fans from constructing an incredibly massive pyramid over Wailing Woods.

Led by Fortnite streamer Loserfruit, a group of Fortnite players entered the underpopulated Oceania server at the same time and landed together in Wailing Woods. Players tore through every tree in the area and collected as many materials as possible before starting construction of the wooden pyramid in the now barren and open area.

Once completed, the enormous structure measured out to 16 building segments tall with a 32 x 32 grid base at the bottom. A minimum of 11,480 materials were used.

Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise Import Impressions

Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise is a crossover between post-apocalyptic manga classic Fist of the North Star and Sega’s action-adventure series about the Japanese underworld, Yakuza. If that previous sentence made no sense to you, the barrier to entry may be high; but fans of either series will find something to enjoy.

Spin-offs included, more than a dozen games have been released in the Yakuza series since the first entry back in 2005. There may have been zombies and samurai, but the Fist of the North Star crossover is the first game in the series set in a completely fictional world.

Like in the original manga by Buronson and Tetsuo Hara, the game follows the story of Kenshiro, the successor of a deadly martial art called Hokuto Shinken. After a nuclear war during the end of the Twentieth Century, the world has become a hopeless wasteland. Survivors are few, and the only law that counts is that the weak are victims of the strong.

Marvel Comics’ Contradictory Handling of Iron Man

These days, few ongoing Marvel Comics series last more than a year or two before getting relaunched. Iron Man is certainly no exception to the rule. In recent years we've seen the character cycle through new creative teams and new storylines, always seeming to revert back to square one in the end. But if the seesawing nature of Marvel's Iron Man comics isn't unique, it is unusually frustrating given the role this character plays in the Marvel Universe.
