Valve Will Start Tailoring Steam’s ‘Upcoming’ Tab to Users’ Interests

Valve has introduced a number of changes to Steam users' "Upcoming" tab.

In a post, Valve detailed how the tab will now be customized for each user, showing games based upon individuals' wishlists and pre-purchases and highlighting games from developers and publishers each user owns past games from.

"We believe Steam does a good job of taking early customer interest (even if that interest isn't enormous) and helps a game amplify that interest through connection to quality customers," reads the post. "This smarter list on the front page aims to do just that."

The Culling 2 Is a Stunning Flop You Should Probably Avoid

The Culling 2 unexpectedly launched yesterday, but it's already off to a terrible start. Currently sitting at a measly 13% positive reviews of around 150 total on Steam, it’s one of the worst averages for a follow-up to a well-known game I’ve ever seen. And, frankly, it may deserve it.

The first Culling doesn’t have a sterling review average either, especially after development was officially shut down in December. It currently sits just below 60%, but still managed to gather over 13,000 reviews since its Early Access launch two years ago. It's still early days for The Culling 2, but it isn’t trending toward even a fraction of that success, and may already be dead in the water.

The Culling 2 Is a Stunning Flop You Should Probably Avoid

The Culling 2 unexpectedly launched on Tuesday and it's already off to a terrible start. Currently sitting at a measly 12% positive reviews (of around 150 total) and less than ten concurrent players on Steam, it’s one of the worst showings for a follow-up to a well-known game I’ve ever seen. And, frankly, it may deserve it.
