Saudi Arabia Reportedly Banning 47 Games in Response to Child Suicides
Saudi Arabia is apparently banning 47 games in response to a pair of children committing suicide after allegedly being encouraged to do so while playing an online game.
Per the Associated Press, the Saudi General Commission for Audio-Visual Media said yesterday that a 13-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy have taken their own lives after playing a social media game known as Blue Whale. Also called the Blue Whale Challenge, the disturbing social media phenomenon is a form of extreme cyberbullying.
It's not clear how the Saudi government believes this connects to more mainstream video games, but it nonetheless appears to have banned 47 popular indie and AAA games in response.The Saudi General Commission for Audio-Visual Media's website actually says the list of banned games (below) was last updated on July 2, but the Associated Press' report claims the bans were just announced Monday.

Warner Bros. Launches Aquaman Website With Official Synopsis
Warner Bros. has launched an Aquaman website as the marketing campaign for the DC film continues to ramp up.
The website features a synopsis for the movie. Though it doesn't give away much in terms of plot details, it does tease the film will be some sort of a journey of discovery for the titular superhero, portrayed by Jason Momoa. Check out the synopsis below.

Pictures and director James Wan comes an action-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, "Aquaman", starring Jason Momoa in the title role. Fantastic Beasts 2: Dumbledore Seemingly Won’t Meet Grindelwald
Jude Law, the actor portraying a young Albus Dumbledore in the upcoming Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, says Dumbledore and Gellert Grindelwald won't actually share a scene together in the film.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Law was asked about Dumbledore's relationship with Grindelwald and what it was like working with Johnny Depp, who portrays the villain.
"I don’t actually have any scenes with Johnny," said Law. "As I said before, this is only Part 2 of a longer story. I’ve always admired him from afar, but we don’t know each other, and I’ve not yet met him on this. In many ways that suits the relationship as it’s been many years since they’ve seen each other. So there’s complexity in that that’s fun to mine."

Middle Earth: Shadow of War Removes Final Microtransactions as Promised
Three months after Warner Bros. announced that all it would remove all microtransactions from Middle Earth: Shadow of War, it seems to have done just that.
New patch notes released today on Steam say that the "Market is removed from the game, replaced with an updated Garrison menu that allows access to your Garrison Orcs, Chests, Training Orders and Boosts."
While the ability to purchase in-game gold was removed in May, players could still use existing gold in the Market until now. The feature's removal marks the last vestige of microtransactions in the game.

Developer Mantic Games has announced a new board game inspired by The Walking Dead’s standalone comic series Here’s Negan.
The board game, also called Here’s Negan, has up to five players take on the roles on Negan’s lieutenants as they clear Walkers out of Sanctuary. Negan himself is also a piece on the board, but moves automatically instead of being controlled by a player.
Here’s Negan is both a competitive and cooperative game, as the players must work together to complete pre-made scenarios while also competing for Negan’s favor. All players lose or win the scenario together, but each is also competing to have the highest Reputation at the end of the game.
