The Predator Director Says New Movie Isn’t a Reboot
Speaking on IGN’s Comic-Con live show today, The Predator director Shane Black said the previous movies in the franchise did happen in the history of this new one.
When asked about where The Predator fits into the greater Predator universe, Black said “this is a sequel, it’s not a reboot.” That means that none of the movies are explicitly being retconned or ignored as far as we know.
You can watch the full interview here:
“The first movie in 1987 introduced people that are remembered and noted in this one,” Black explained. “The difference is now that with these repeated trips to Earth and these different incursions, humanity has noticed now.”
Telltale Doesn’t Rule Out More The Walking Dead Games After Season 4
Today at San Diego Comic-Con, Telltale Games Creative Director Kent Mudle left the door open to the potential for more The Walking Dead games from Telltale after Season 4.
During our Comic-Con livestream, IGN’s own Max Scoville asked Mudle about how Season 4 is being called "the final season" and if that means this is the end of Telltale’s relationship with The Walking Dead. Mudle simply responded by saying “This season is the end of Clementine’s journey, and that’s as much as I’ll say on that.”
You can watch the full interview and gameplay demo here:
While not a confirmation that more games are definitely coming, the implication is that Season 4 is the final game in this story, but potentially not the final season or The Walking Dead game overall.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy Allows Players to Switch Between Original and Remastered In-Game Music
Activision and Toys for Bob announced a new in-game feature for the Spyro Reignited Trilogy that lets players switch between the original and remastered game soundtracks while playing through the levels.
The announcement came at the Spyro: Reigniting a Legend Panel at San Diego Comic-Con, along with news that acclaimed musician, film score writer, and composer, Stewart Copeland, the series' original composer, has returned to the Spyro franchise to create soundtracks for the new trilogy.
Copeland played a clip of the new soundtrack's main theme at the panel, known as Tiger Train which has recognizable orchestra-rock sounds from the first three Spyro games.

Henry Cavill Thinks a Zack Snyder Cut Wouldn’t ‘Change Anything’
Superman himself Henry Cavill thinks a Zack Snyder cut of Justice League wouldn't "change anything."
Speaking to Yahoo! Movies, Cavill shared his thoughts on this alternate version of the DC film, which Warner Bros. recently confirmed won't be released. Cavill thinks Zack Snyder's cut of the movie, while intriguing, shouldn't be a priority for Warner Bros.
“I think it might be entertaining, for sure, and go, ‘Oh look, now I’ve scratched that itch,’ but it’s not going to change anything that I can think of, it’s not going to make huge amounts of money all of a sudden for a studio," Cavill said.

New Spider-Man PS4 Story Trailer Confirms New Villain
A new story trailer for Spider-Man debuted at San Diego Comic-Con, confirming Silver Sable as a villain.
According to the trailer, Mayor Norman Osborn hires Silver Sable to stop Spider-Man, whom he considers "an enemy of the people."
Silver Sable is joined by her security force, Silver Sable International, to bring order back to the city. Her security detail can be seen rappelling from a helicopter, and later down a building, heavily armed and armored.
Though Silver Sable is clearly starting off in opposition to Spider-Man, what we know from the comics tells us that this mercenary has her own moral code and that her allegiance may change. She has often teamed up with Spidey when their agendas align, so don't be surprised if her loyalties also change in the game.
