Apple hits $1 trillion in market value

Apple's financial success continues to grow as it hit a $1 trillion market cap this morning.

As reported by CNBC, Apple's stock value rose almost 3 percent after an exceptionally strong third-quarter earnings report issued earlier this week. Apple stock rose past $207 per share briefly, but has since dropped into the $206 range. With an outstanding share count of 4,829,926,000 this brief price increase managed to push their value into the tredecuple digits.

Apple is the first publicly traded company in the U.S. to reach this record valuation, but Amazon is also on its way to hitting that magic $1 trillion number, as its shares surpassed $900,000,000,000 in value last month.

This should lend some hope to fans of Mass Effect series, which last year was said to be put on hold following the launch of Mass Effect: Andromeda.

Batman #52 Review

STL088815

Written by Tom King | Drawn by Lee Weeks

"Tom King and Lee Weeks have a fairly simple task before them with this current Batman storyline. They need to establish Bruce Wayne's present state of mind following his unexpected breakup with Selina Kyle and why he's losing his grip as Batman. There are surely simpler, more straightforward ways the two could have gone about that story. But the fact that they've put so much effort and care into the series' first post-wedding storyline makes it that much more of an enjoyable read." -Jesse
