Gal Gadot Joins Voice Cast of Wreck-It Ralph 2

Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot has joined the voice cast of Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2.

Gadot will portray Shank, a talented driver from the gritty racing game called Slaughter Race who isn't too fond of losing. Vanellope (Sarah Silverman) will come face-to-face with Shank in a street race while searching for a replacement part for Sugar Rush.

While Shank is quite tough, the character still has a warm quality to her and quickly becomes someone Vanellope looks up to.

The Walking Dead Has Been Missing Something Crucial Since ‘All Out War’

One of the main reasons The Walking Dead has struck such a major a chord with fans (in both comic book and TV form) is that it tells an ongoing story of survival during the zombie apocalypse. This isn't a finite tale of intrepid heroes making their stand against the undead, but one that keeps unfolding and veering off in unexpected directions. However, if the past few years of the comic are any indication, that strength can just as easily become a weakness.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider Feels Like More of the Same…And That’s OK

I found myself, as Lara Croft, airborne and nearing the Amazon River in Peru. A storm hits, as it always does, and the plane goes down. Off course and in an unfamiliar area, Lara must find the living members of her team, assemble her tools, and decipher the clues before the bad guys, Trinity. Ain’t no rest for the wicked.

As you explore the opening hours of Shadow of the Tomb Raider, it becomes clear that parts of it are meant to be light on combat, which was okay by me after an action-packed first hour in Mexico. It instead focuses on familiarizing the player with Lara’s new moves and giving them a chance to play through some of the franchise’s famous adventure puzzles; they definitely delivered! Similar to past Tomb Raider games, I found the puzzles challenging and the most rewarding aspect, with the combat pretty same-y compared to the previous two Tomb Raider games. Even if the combat isn’t stellar, the puzzles are and there’s one specifically within this demo that felt like the best since the franchise reboot. It utilizes all of Lara’s mechanics and has an emphasis on timing, keeping things tense. It doesn’t give too much away as to what your next step might be and can be brutally punishing if you guess wrong.

SteamCharts reports that in just 24 hours, its concurrent player count peaked at 240,901 on Steam; the highest of any game on Steam so far this year, and the seventh-highest count of all time.

The previous Japanese record holder for concurrent Steam players was Dark Souls 3 with 129,831.
