Guardians 3: Chris Pratt Says It’s ‘Not An Easy Time’ For Cast After Gunn’s Firing
It's not been an easy time for the Guardians of the Galaxy cast following James Gunn's firing, according to Chris Pratt.
Speaking to the AP, Pratt explained the cast loves Gunn but everyone still wants to move forward, with the recent controversy being complicated for everyone.
“It’s not an easy time," Pratt said. "We all love James and he’s a good friend of ours, but we also really love playing the Guardians of the Galaxy. It’s a complicated situation for everybody.
"And you know, we just want to move forward and do what’s right and be the best people we can be."
Pratt and the rest of the core Guardians cast released an open statement defending Gunn. The filmmaker was fired by Disney after a series of older offensive tweets from the director recently surfaced. Pratt reiterated the open letter from the cast is mostly all they have to say about the situation.
