Michael B. Jordan Reportedly Being Considered to Replace Henry Cavill as Superman
Following today's news that Henry Cavill is reportedly done with the role of Superman, Deadline reports that Warner Bros. has considered casting Michael B. Jordan in the role for future installments down the road.
Sources have reported that future Superman movies are several years out, but that Warner Bros. has been looking at different angles to take with future films, as they are aware the current DC universe has not seen the level of success with fans as they would like.

Sunset Overdrive Was Originally a Lot Like Fortnite
Early in development, Sunset Overdrive actually had a lot in common with the then-unreleased, now-immensely-popular multiplayer game Fortnite.
IGN's Ryan McCaffrey sat down with Insomniac CEO Ted Price for this month's episode of IGN Unfiltered (see below) and talked about the origins of the popular Xbox One exclusive.
“Our first prototypes were, actually, you building a fort with friends, fighting off hordes of
" Price said, "So, very similar to a very popular game today, which we all sort of chuckle about, but the game did morph along the way to something that was more of a story-driven, open world game.”
There are still vestiges of that early iteration of the game, which players can experience in Sunset Overdrive's base defense encounters. Price went on to explain other early ideas, which included experiments with cover-based combat and more, and how the team stumbled upon the magic combination which makes Sunset Overdrive so unique.
No, Halo 5 Is Not Coming to PC
For a brief time earlier this week, it looked like one of Xbox One's biggest exclusives might no longer be quite so exclusive, but Microsoft has since shut down rumors that Halo 5: Guardians is on its way to PC.
"As we've shared previously, we do not have plans to launch Halo 5: Guardians on Windows 10 PC," a Microsoft representative told CNET.
Rumors to the contrary emerged Sunday, when a subtle change to Halo 5's Amazon box art was noticed. Instead of reading that it was an "Xbox One Exclusive," the box art was changed to read that Halo 5 was just an "Xbox One Console Exclusive." The change to the latter wording is in line with how Microsoft typically describes games released on both Xbox One and PC, but that's apparently not the case with Halo 5.
American Gods Drops Season 2 Showrunner Amid Behind the Scenes Turmoil
Starz's American Gods has lost yet another showrunner as Jesse Alexander has been "sidelined" due to issues occurring behind the scenes.
As reported by THR, Alexander, who replaced original showrunners Michael Green and Bryan Fuller, was "fired but not fired," and is "no longer working on the hyper-stylized drama as a writer or showrunner, and has been asked not to sit in on editing, be involved on set or participate in any other areas of production or postproduction."

Scott is playing Detective Wesley Cole, a former international CIA operative who has recently relocated to Los Angeles to be closer to his family.
Alan Wake Is Becoming a TV Show
Alan Wake still isn't getting the video game sequel that fans have spent years pining for, but Remedy Entertainment's paranormal adventure franchise will continue via another medium.
Variety reports today that a live-action Alan Wake television series is in the works, with Cloak and Dagger and Legion's Peter Calloway on board as showrunner and writer. The show will be executive produced by Remedy Creative Director Sam Lake, who created Alan Wake. Contradiction Films has partnered with Remedy to produce the show, but doesn't yet have a studio attached. The plan is to start pitching it in October once Calloway has finalized the details.
Update: Nintendo Switch Getting 6.0.0 Update Next Week
Update 9/13/2018: Nintendo has announced the Switch's 6.0.0 system update will arrive alongside the Online Service activation on September 18.
The update will be pushed out to users at 5pm PT / 8pm ET (that's September 19 at 1am UK / 10am AEST). The Nintendo eShop will undergo maintenance for 3 hours after the update is released.
While little is known about what improvements will come with 6.0.0, it will likely be responsible for enabling cloud saving and other new online features.
Switch users have also been informed that, following 6.0.0, Switch User Accounts will be tied permanently to the Nintendo Account they're currently tied to. Make sure you've linked the correct accounts before that date.
Nintendo Direct Confirmed for Tomorrow
After a week delay, Nintendo has confirmed that its previously scheduled Nintendo Switch and 3DS Direct will be airing tomorrow, September 13, at 3pm PT/6pm ET/11pm BST.
Announced via Twitter, Nintendo's upcoming 35-minute Direct was delayed from its original September 6 date due to an earthquake that struck Hokkaido, Japan.

Henry Cavill is reportedly done with the role of Superman.
Per the Hollywood Reporter, the actor has apparently parted ways with Warner Bros. after three films in the role. The trade paper's reporter Tatiana Siegel also tweeted: "As for who broke up with whom, Warner Bros. was the one who decided to move on from Henry Cavill."
Following Man of Steel, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League, Cavill was in talks to cameo in the upcoming Shazam! According to THR, contract talks broke down, and the chances for a further appearance are all but through.
