Joker Director Reveals New Photo of Joaquin Phoenix in Clown Costume and Makeup

Director of the upcoming Joker film Todd Phillips has posted another shot of Joaquin Phoenix in makeup on Instagram, though this time he is decidedly in a full clown costume.

Joker Phoenix

The Instagram post is simply paired with the caption “Work” suggesting that this is Phoenix playing Arthur Fleck, the Joker prior to making his full transition into the Clown Prince of Crime. It appears that this version of the Joker worked as a literal clown, perhaps providing entertainment to audiences before being completely "disregarded by society."

With the recent release of the final trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, which led to the reveal of Nagini being a Maledictus, J.K. Rowling took to Twitter to answer some fan theories.

Capcom: Resident Evil 2 Is Not Just a Remake, It’s a Brand New Entry in the Series

During IGN Japan’s Tokyo Game Show 2018 livestream, Resident Evil 2 producers Yoshiaki Hirabayashi and Tsuyoshi Kanda told us that Capcom sees the forthcoming remake as a brand new entry in the series.

The remake of the 1998 classic is being developed using Capcom’s RE Engine, which was first used for 2017’s Resident Evil 7. “Thanks to the engine, we were able to create gorgeous graphics as well as sound,” Hirabayashi told us. “As for the gameplay, we got a lot of feedback from Resident Evil 7.”

“RE Engine is a great engine for trial and error, so our experience with previous titles using the same engine has greatly enhanced the new Resident Evil 2,” Kanda added.

Bumblebee Actually Looks Like an ’80s G1 Transformers Movie

While Michael Bay’s Transformers movies have attracted their share of moviegoers and fans, they’ve always been pretty hit-or-miss with fans of the original toy line, cartoon series, and comics. However, with Bumblebee, it looks like that could change.
