Did DC Just Design the Perfect Batman Costume?
This week's Batman #58 is one of the best-looking Batman comics you're likely to find on the stands right now. That's not surprising, given that Mikel Janin has long since established himself as one of the top Batman artists in the business. There is one weird quirk to be found in this issue, however. Due to an unusual choice of lighting, one page features Batman wearing what seems to be a combination of his current costume and his previous DC Rebirth suit.
You can argue over whether this particular embellishment works well, especially since nowhere else in the comic does Batman's cape have that purplish tinge. But whether intentionally or not, Janin and colorist Jordie Bellaire may have created the perfect Batman costume.
Toy Story 4: New Trailer Introduces Ducky & Bunny, Played By Key & Peele
Only a day after the first teaser trailer, a new Toy Story 4 video has revealed two new characters, Ducky and Bunny, played by Jordan Peele and Keegan-Michael Key.
Framed as a reaction video to yesterday's trailer, it's not just a surprise because we got a teaser so recently – the comedy duo weren't even listed on the movie's IMDB page until the new teaser went live, and we'd heard no rumours about their involvement.
The YouTube description for the trailer explains the characters a little more: "Woody’s journey in 'Toy Story 4' includes a visit to a carnival where he meets Ducky and Bunny, two carnival prizes who are eager to be won."
They aren't the only new characters announced for the film this week. Yesterday's trailer introduced Forky (played by Tony Hale), a spork seemingly having an existential crisis about being turned into a toy. Here's everything we know about him so far.
Nintendo ROM Site Lawsuit Results in $12 Million Judgement
Nintendo has been awarded $12,230,000 by an Arizona judge following its lawsuit against two ROM hosting sites.
Back in July, Nintendo issued lawsuits to LoveRETRO and LoveROMS, both run by the same married couple, Jacob and Cristian Mathias. The couple have since taken down both sites, and entered settlement negotiations with Nintendo to avoid a legal battle.
TorrentFreak now reports that the two sides have agreed to a consent judgement. Unsigned judgement documents read: “Plaintiff is hereby awarded judgment against all Defendants, jointly and severally, in the amount of $12,230,000”.

Comics, Hollywood Communities Mourns Stan Lee
Immediate outpouring of gratitude for Stan Lee came through social media just moments after news broke that he passed away Monday morning.
From actors and directors who have worked with him or were inspired from afar - people took to Twitter to share their thoughts and inspiration they've gained from the late icon.
Marvel Studios President, Kevin Feige, said in a tweet, "No one has had more of an impact on my career and everything we do at Marvel Studios than Stan Lee. Stan leaves an extraordinary legacy that will outlive us all. Our thoughts are with his daughter, his family, and his millions of fans."
Stan Lee Already Filmed His Avengers 4 Cameo
Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4 co-director Joe Russo has confirmed that the late Stan Lee has already filmed his Avengers 4 cameo.
Stan Lee, the Marvel Comics legend who brought to life some of the world's greatest superheroes, passed away today at the age of 95, but we are all lucky enough to have at least one more Stan Lee cameo to look forward to.
As reported by CBR.com, during an interview with BBC Radio Scotland back in April of this year, Russo's comments should reassure fans that the legendary Stan Lee will indeed appear in Avengers 4.

Five Nights at Freddy’s Movie Screenplay Tossed by Game Creator
The script for a movie adaptation of Five Nights at Freddy's was "wrapped up and greenlit" by producer Jason Blum and director Chris Columbus, but has been thrown out because the game's creator, Scott Cawthon, claimed it didn't match his vision.
As reported by Variety, via an update by Cawthon on Steam's forums, he claimed that he "had a different idea for it," and one that he liked better.
We Saw Two Hilarious Extra Scenes From Pokémon: Detective Pikachu
While the world was treated to the Pokemon: Detective Pikachu trailer today, IGN and a small group of press were invited to Legendary headquarters to screen two additional scenes from the movie. As you’ve no doubt gleaned from the trailer, the whole production is driven by Ryan Reynolds’ hilarious turn as Detective Pikachu, and the two scenes highlight his unique brand of humor.
(We also got a look at several to-scale models of what certain Pokemon look like in live-action and an awesome prop Pokemon chess set, which you can see below.)
The first scene saw protagonist Tim Goodman talking to Detective Pikachu inside the Hi-Hat Cafe, a coffee bar with a Ludicolo barista. Any good detective has a bar they frequent, but given this is a kid-friendly affair, Detective Pikachu gets his fix by drinking endless cups of coffee instead of bottles of booze. This scene was from early on in the film where they establish the main mystery of the movie: Tim thinks his father, detective Harry Goodman, died in an accident, but Detective Pikachu convinces him that he’s likely still alive and there’s a larger conspiracy afoot, so they need to find Tim's dad and find out who's behind his disappearance. Eventually Pikachu does win Tim over and they agree to work on the case together, but it doesn’t come without a great deal of bickering between the two. As the trailer highlighted, Tim is pretty caught off guard by the fact that he can understand Pikachu, so he’s justifiably rattled, but he also finds Pikachu to be a little grating and hard to handle.
Breaking Down The Grinch’s Box Office Debut
Illumination Entertainment has another hit on their hands with a new animated adaptation of Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch, which opened with $67.6 million. With an additional $13.1 million coming from foreign markets, its worldwide debt of $80.7 million has already secured a profit for the film, which has a production budget of $75 million. When compared to the other eight films produced by Illumination Entertainment, The Grinch doesn’t stack up as high as you might think, so we’re breaking down its opening weekend when compared to the rest of Illumination’s slate.
The Grinch’s opening weekend ranks as the sixth best out of Illumination Entertainment’s nine films, behind another Dr. Seuss adaptation, The Lorax ($70.2 million), Despicable Me 3 ($72.4 million), Despicable Me 2 ($83.5 million), The Secret Life of Pets ($104.4 million) and Minions ($115.7 million). Its debut fared better than the very first Illumination film, the original Despicable Me ($56.4 million), Hop ($37.5 million) and Sing ($35.3 million). All of Illumination’s films have at least broken the $100 million domestic box office barrier, with the lowest-grossing film being Hop at $108.1 million, but oddly enough, a lower debut doesn’t often foreshadow a lackluster domestic performance.
