10 Big Changes from Pokemon Yellow to Pokemon: Let’s Go

It’s been 20 years since the launch of Pokemon Yellow in Japan, and in that time the creature-collecting franchise has evolved quite a bit. Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu and Let’s Go, Eevee revisit the enhanced, Pikachu-focused take on Pokemon Red and Blue, and while Game Freak’s remake is largely faithful to the Game Boy classic, not everything's the same.

Here are 10 big changes from Pokemon Yellow to Pokemon: Let’s Go.

Pokemon Go Park

Much of Kanto in Let’s Go is a spruced up version of what you remember from Pokemon Yellow, but fans will spot several changes to the overworld—some big and others small. Most noteworthy is the Safari Zone north of Fuchsia City, which is no longer an explorable area where you can capture Pokemon. In Let’s Go, it’s essentially an entryway to Pokemon Go Park, an entirely new area where you can import your creatures from Pokemon Go.

Sunset Overdrive Officially Coming to PC

The rumors, leaks, and ratings board updates were all true: Sunset Overdrive is officially coming to PC tomorrow.

Insomniac Games made the announcement on Twitter today, releasing a trailer confirming the previously Xbox One-exclusive Sunset Overdrive is heading to Windows 10.

It's been a long road for Insomniac to get to this point, with Sunset Overdrive originally releasing in 2014 as one of the Xbox One's tentpole exclusives. But talk of a PC port started more than two years ago.

In 2016, Insomniac said that it would "love" to bring Sunset Overdrive to PC but admitted that it would need approval from publisher Microsoft. Last year, Insomniac CEO Ted Price indicated that he'd like to make a Sunset Overdrive 2 and bring that to multiple platforms, but he said his studio would need a publisher to make it happen.

Batkid Remains Cancer-Free After Five Years

Batkid, aka Miles Scott, remains cancer-free five years after battling both leukemia and the villains of Gotham City.

As reported by the San Francisco Chronicle, Miles was granted a wish by the Make-a-Wish Foundation in 2013 to become Batman, effectively turning San Francisco into Gotham City for a day with the help of 12,000 volunteers.

Miles cruised around the city in a Lamborghini that was made to look like the Batmobile, answered a call from the police commissioner, and faced down the Riddler and Penguin, ultimately being awarded the key to the city. According to the foundation, Miles received his last treatment just before becoming Batkid.
