The Walking Dead is Going to China, But Not the Way You Think
A new Walking Dead novel is expanding the series’ universe into China.
Announced by Skybound Books, The Walking Dead: Typhoon, written by Wesley Chu (The Lives of Tao, Time Salvager), follows a group of survivors that work together to face a “wave of walkers in the most populous country in the world.” Skybound says Chu will bring a fresh perspective on societal decay and decomposing flesh established in Robert Kirkman’s comic series.
“Our goal at Skybound Books has been to give novelists the same creative platform and freedom to tell engaging genre stories that we already have in place across comics, film, television, and games,” said Skybound SVP Sean Mackiewicz. “Plus, after 15 years, we’re about to answer one of the biggest questions The Walking Dead fans have had since the beginning: what’s happening to the rest of the world? That we can expand The Walking Dead universe with talented authors like Wesley Chu will allow walkers to truly become an even greater global phenomenon than ever before!”
The Mandalorian: Nick Nolte Cast in Disney+’s Star Wars Series
Nick Nolte has joined the cast of Jon Favreau's The Mandalorian, the new Star Wars series headed to Disney's streaming platform, Disney+.
Reported by THR, Nick Nolte joins Pedro Pascal and Gina Carano in a story that takes place in-between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens and follows "the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic."
Marvel’s Daredevil Probably Isn’t Going to Disney+ (Here’s Why That’s Okay)
The news rolled in this past Thursday night: Netflix has canceled Daredevil.
Iron Fist was the first Marvel series that Netflix axed, and the news came not long before Daredevil: Season 3 premiered in October. Luke Cage was canceled a week later, the same day as Daredevil's premiere. Fans, however, were optimistic about Daredevil's future after showrunner Eric Oleson tweeted on November 16 that he had pitched Netflix on a potential Season 4 of the show.
Hacker Makes Printers Across the World Ask People to Subscribe to PewDiePie
Printers connected to the Internet across the world have been hacked to print a message urging people to subscribe to PewDiePie’s YouTube channel.
Reported by The Verge, this attack appears to be the work of @HackerGiraffe (a Twitter account that was just opened yesterday) who claims the relatively harmless act was carried out in order to raise awareness about a major hole in printer security.
The message sent to an alleged 50,000 printers calls for recipients to unsubscribe from T-Series, an Indian YouTube channel that is close to becoming the most subscribed channel on the platform, and subscribe to the current frontrunner PewDiePie’s channel instead. It also suggests reciepents subscribe to two other channels, "delete TikTok,” smile, and to fix the exposed printer.

GameStop Reports Third Quarter Loss of $488.6 Million, Increase in New Game Sales
GameStop has released its third quarter fiscal report, which ended on Nov. 3, showing an overall net income loss of $488.6 million.
The report included the recent sale of Spring Mobile – one of GameStop Corp's owned companies – which brought in approximately $700 million.
GameStop previously said they would, “pay off debts, fund share repurchases, reinvest in core video game and collectibles businesses to drive growth, or some combination of these options," with the funds from Spring Mobile.

Fallout 76 Patch Notes: Increased Stash Storage, Improved Stability, Bug Fixes and More

Bethesda has released the full notes for Fallout 76 Patch 1.0.2.0, which will be coming December 4.
Released through Bethdesda.net, many of the details of this patch were previously revealed, though a lot of new information has been given, including specifics on bug fixes, rebalancing, general improvements and more. Patch 1.0.2.0 clocks in at 3 GB for consoles and 36MB for PC versions of the game. Additionally, Bethesda promised that a new patch would drop on December 11.
