Who Is SonicFox, the esports Champion Who Stole the Show at The Game Awards?

"I'm gay, black, a fury - pretty much everything a Republican hates - and the best esports player of the year, I guess."

With an acceptance speech like that, it's no surprise that people might be wondering who Dominique "SonicFox" McLean is. The short answer is that the winner of Best Esports Player at the 2018 Game Awards is an absolute fighting game machine. The four-time EVO champion has destroyed his competition in games like Injustice: God's Among Us, Mortal Kombat X, and more recently Dragon Ball FighterZ. And he's done it all while sporting a set of blue ears.

One of the most notable things about SonicFox, compared to other esports champions, is his ability to not only flex into other games but to dominate in them. He also has a tendency to play large character pools or even stick to those often considered weaker like his Joker choice for Injustice 2. At only 20 years old, he's one of the most successful players of all time, and is commonly believed to currently be the highest-paid fighting game esports champ around.

Devil May Cry 5: New Character Details Revealed

Devil May Cry 5 received a brief new trailer during The Game Awards last night, but Capcom has released an extended trailer and more information on the new character V.

V is touted as a deceptively strong character that can summon three different demons to assist him in battle. Shadow is a fast, panther-like creature that can morph into blades and needles for close-range combat. Griffon is a bird-like demon that can carry V across large areas and fire beams of light to destroy incoming enemies. Nightmare is a massive demon that crushes enemies that get in his path, and can also utilize beams of light.

Using all three demons to your advantage, V can enter battle after enemy health has been whittled down to make a final blow with his cane attack. V and his demons can be seen in action in the extended trailer below.

Gotham's final season premieres in less than a month, and even as chaos rains down on the city, Bruce Wayne is growing closer to becoming the hero he was destined to be.

IGN can exclusively debut a new trailer for Gotham Season 5, which offers the tease we've all been waiting for: "the Dark Knight is coming."

In the footage, we see Bruce and a newly-healed Selina going toe-to-toe (gadgets, claws and all) before they become Batman and Catwoman, plus a blink and you'll miss it shot of Shane West's Bane. Naturally, Cameron Monaghan's Jeremiah is still causing mischief in this lawless No Man's Land, while Jim Gordon and the rest of the GCPD try to defend what's left of the city from the villainous factions currently staking claim to their own territories.

Avengers 4: How Endgame’s Thanos Scarecrow Pays Homage to the Comics

The trailer for Avengers: Endgame has arrived. And while the surviving members of the Avengers are looking pretty unhappy at the moment, there's one character in the new trailer who seems perfectly content.

Thanos is briefly shown tilling the fields on his quiet farm, basking in the glory of having just murdered half of all life in the universe. And as he does so, the trailer features a shot of his old armor, now propped up as a bizarre sort of scarecrow.

It may seem strange to see one of the greatest villains in the MCU living the simple life. But as with most things in the MCU, this scene draws inspiration directly from the comics. Here's why the "Thanos-crow" matters to the plot of the movie, and why it could hint at a shift in Thanos' motivations going forward.

Avengers 4: All the Clues the Sequel Was Going to Be Called ‘Endgame’

One of the biggest mysteries in the geek community has finally been solved. We now know that Avengers 4 is officially titled "Avengers Endgame." Perhaps not the most glamorous title in the MCU, but it gets the point across. And more importantly, it turns out that Marvel has been teasing this title for several years now.

Here's a look back at all the clues towards the title of Avengers 4, dating all the way back to 2015.

Avengers: Age of Ultron

Shortly after Ultron first manifests itself in this movie, the Avengers have a heated argument over whether it was such a good idea for Tony and Bruce to build a hyper-intelligent A.I. system with near-unlimited power. As friends do from time to time. Tony's justification for designing Ultron is to reference his near-death experience at the end of the first Avengers movie and the unknown threat posed by enemies from other worlds. Tony says, "That up there. That’s the endgame. How were you guys planning on beating that?".
