Spider-Man: Far From Home’s Elementals Explained
A number of surprises concern the new web-slinging MCU film, Spider-Man: Far From Home, which debuts on July 4 with returning star Tom Holland. Not least is the fact that – at least initially – Jake Gyllenhaal's Mysterio (get the full story on Mysterio right here) may very well be an ally and not an antagonist (a situation that may evolve during the film, of course). But as for the villains we do know about, Spidey is called in by Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) to help out against a little group known in the comics as… the Elementals.
Spider-Man: Far From Home Poster Revealed
Marvel has revealed the first poster for Spider-Man: Far From Home, and it teases a globe-trotting adventure for young Peter Parker.
The poster features travel stickers for New York, Prague, London, Venice, Italy more generally, Berlin and the Swiss Alps plastered across Spider-Man's mask.

Chris McQuarrie Reportedly Turned Down DC to Make More Mission: Impossible Movies
Writer and director of the last two Mission: Impossible films, Chris McQuarrie, seemingly hasn't been bitten by the superhero bug.
The Rogue Nation and Fallout writer-director has reportedly turned down offers from a number of studios in favour of returning to the Mission: Impossible franchise for two more movies.
THR reports that Warner Bros. was among the group attempting to lure him away, offering up the prospect of upcoming DC projects, but McQuarrie has signed up as writer and director once again on the next two instalments of the Mission Impossible series, which will be filmed back-to-back.

Jurassic World Evolution Sells 2 Million Copies
Jurassic World Evolution is Frontier Development's "biggest launch to date."
Frontier has announced that Jurassic World Evolution has sold two million copies since its release in July 2018, making it the studio's biggest launch so far.
Planet Coaster, launched in November 2016, has also hit the two million mark. The company's third self-published title, Elite Dangerous, which had a staggered release on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, has sold over three million copies.
"We are very pleased with the success of Jurassic World Evolution, which has been our biggest launch to date," said CEO David Braben, via GamesIndustry.biz. "Elite Dangerous and Planet Coaster also continue to perform well, as our strategy of supporting, nurturing and enhancing each of our game franchises continues to deliver."
Family Guy Will ‘Phase Out’ Gay Jokes
According to executive producers Rich Appel and Alex Sulkin, Family Guy is "trying to phase out" gay jokes as the show will "shift and evolve in a lot of different ways."
Speaking to TVLine, Appel and Sulkin discussed the episode that had Peter becoming President Trump's latest press secretary.
The discussion was focused on how Family Guy, which first aired in 1999, has evolved over its 17 seasons.
During the episode, Peter told Trump that Family Guy has been "trying to phase out gay jokes," and Sulkin and Appel commented on that statement and if it was, in fact, true.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Publisher Suing Over Pinkerton Use
Take-Two Interactive, publisher of Red Dead Redemption 2, is in a legal battle with the security company Pinkerton over the use of characters Andrew Milton and Edgar Ross, two Pinkerton agents featured in Rockstar's latest title.
As reported by The Verge, this all began when Pinkerton Consulting & Investigations sent Take-Two a cease-and-desist letter over the previously mentioned characters in December.
Pinkerton appreciated Rockstar's "clear affection" for Pinkerton, but felt the developer was "creating a false impression that the game was made by or connected with Pinkerton," which it is not, and it is demanding Take-Two "pay either a lump sum or ongoing royalties."
Two Mission: Impossible Sequels to Film Back-to-Back
Christopher McQuarrie, the writer and director responsible for Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation and Fallout, is set to write and direct two more sequels back-to-back.
Reported by Variety, the reasoning for the combined schedule is to capitalize on the major critical and financial success of Mission: Impossible - Fallout, which was both the best reviewed and highest-grossing film in the franchise to date. The first sequel is expected to premiere in Summer 2021 while the second will likely follow in Summer 2022. Paramount Pictures allegedly wants to avoid cannibalizing sales for its upcoming Tom Cruise-led Top Gun: Maverick, which is set to hit theaters on June 26, 2020.
Every Activity in Anthem Will Have Matchmaking
A lead producer on Anthem has confirmed that "every activity" in the game will feature matchmaking.
Ben Irving tweeted out this information while responding to a question pertaining to public and private matchmaking, saying “There is matchmaking for every activity in the game.” This presumably applies to Strongholds, free play, missions, world events and everything in between, allowing for players who aren’t readily matched up with friends to find other players to join with online.

Just Dance: Sony’s Screen Gems Developing Movie Based on Ubisoft Video Game
Screen Gems, a subdivision of Sony Pictures, has reportedly acquired the rights to make a feature film based off of Ubisoft’s hit music series Just Dance.
Reported by Deadline, this acquisition follows some competitive bidding over the property’s film rights. Ubisoft Film and Television and Olive Bridge Entertainment will reportedly help develop and produce the film. For Ubisoft Film and Television, Jason Altman and Margaret Boykin will produce while Jodi Hildebrand and Will Gluck will do the same for Olive Bridge Entertainment.
