Resident Evil 2 Ghost Survivors DLC Release Date Announced
Resident Evil 2 will be getting a free update in February that will add The Ghost Survivors - three "what if" stories of those who didn't make it out of Raccoon City.
Announced by Resident Evil on Twitter, these stories will arrive for free starting on February 15 and will put you in the shoes of a gunshop owner (Robert Kendo), the mayor's daughter, and a soldier in three episodes - "No Time to Mourn," "Runaway, and "Forgotten Soldier."
This is but one example of the post-launch support for the Resident Evil 2 Remake that will also see, at least in Japan, original Claire and Leon skins from the 1998 version of RE2 added to the new game.
PSA: This Is the Last Week to Unlock Smash Bros. Ultimate’s Piranha Plant for Free
It’s the last week to unlock Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s free DLC character, Piranha Plant, and here’s what you need to know to ensure you’ll get the potted fighter.
To obtain the fighter for free, simply purchase the game physically or digitally before January 31, 2019. If you bought a physical copy of the game, you’ll have to redeem its My Nintendo points by pressing the + button on the game’s icon on Switch’s menu screen, scroll down to "My Nintendo Rewards Program" and choose "Earn Points.” This will send an e-mail to the address your account is attached to. If you bought digitally, this will happen automatically.
If you’ve already done this, there should be a code to redeem Piranha Plant in your inbox, but if you haven’t, do so within the next three days to ensure you will - and be careful not to toss the message into the trash. If it doesn’t arrive right away, don’t worry: The code itself will be valid through June 2019. Redeem the code through the Nintendo eShop, but know that the character isn’t set to arrive until February 2019.
No, There Isn’t a Big Lebowski Sequel On the Way

The original tweet, which can be seen below, was posted on January 24 by Jeff Bridges, and features the actor reprising his role as the sly, relaxed Lebowski stumbling through a crowded establishment. The teaser ended with a tumbleweed rolling past the screen, revealing a date of February 3, 2019 - suggesting a full trailer would be shown on Super Bowl Sunday. The tweet was accompanied by a caption from Bridges that read, "Can’t be living in the past, man. Stay tuned."

There is no further information as to what the cost will be or what types of games Apple will offer, as "the service is still in the early stages of development, and Apple could ultimately decide to abandon it."
Additionally, Apple has discussed the possibility of becoming a publisher as well, according to two of the sources, which could hint at Apple's ambition to further expand in the gaming space.
