What Can PlayStation Learn From Nintendo Direct and Inside Xbox?
With Sony deciding to skip E3 in 2019, and Shawn Layden discussing the company's reasons for not going to E3, how can PlayStation still best promote its upcoming lineup in 2019?

Watch the video above as Jonathon Dornbush, Brian Altano, and Max Scoville discuss whether PlayStation should adapt its own video series with the lack of an E3 presence, and an uncertainty of whether PSX will return.

If you buy something through this post, IGN may get a share of the sale. For more, read our Terms of Use.
Monday is Presidents' Day, which means many of us will get to enjoy a day off school or work. It also means big savings, as retailers have already set their Presidents' Day sales live. Among them is Best Buy, which is offering up to $400 off select prebuilt desktop gaming PCs.
While many PC gamers enjoy buying the parts and assembling their own rigs, others would rather skip the technical side and get right to the games. There's nothing wrong with that. And if you decide to upgrade a few of the parts later, you still can. Let's zoom in on some of these Presidents' Day deals to see if it's time to pull the trigger on a powerful, prebuilt gaming rig.
Yume Nikki: Dream Diary Launching on Nintendo Switch
Yume Nikki: Dream Diary, a 3D reimagining of cult horror classic Yume Nikki, arrives on Nintendo Switch on February 21.
You can watch the Nintendo Switch launch trailer below.
In Yume Nikki: Dream Diary, players explore the various dream worlds of Madotsuki, a socially withdrawn young woman who refuses to leave her apartment.
Many of the same worlds and creature designs from the original Yume Nikki make appearances in Dream Diary, but Dream Diary has added platforming and puzzle game elements, as well as brand new areas to explore and a new 3D art style.
The original Yume Nikki, a 2004 RPG Maker game from anonymous creator Kikiyama, found its way onto Steam in 2018 alongside a two-week countdown timer for "the next Yume Nikki project."

Ben Affleck Confirms Exit as Batman and Retires Cowl on Jimmy Kimmel Live
Ben Affleck has officially retired as Batman, and the actor confirmed it personally on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Affleck appeared on Jimmy Kimmel last night and Jimmy began by asking him about the reports and announcements that he will no longer be playing Batman, a role he has played since 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
In response, Affleck said "I tried to direct a version of it, and worked with a really good screenwriter but just kinda couldn’t come up with a version…that couldn’t crack it, and so I thought it was like, you know, time to let someone else take a shot at it. They got some really good people, so I’m excited."

Transformers/Ghostbusters Mash-Up Coming From Hasbro
Two of the finest pop-culture products of the 1980s are together at last. Hasbro just revealed its Transformers Generations Collaborative Ghostbusters Mash-Up Ecto 1 Ectotron figure.
That's kind of a mouthful, so in the interest of brevity, it's best described as an Ecto 1 that turns into a robot. Yes, that's right: the iconic converted ambulance from the classic 1984 Ghostbusters movie is now available as a toy that turns into a robot warrior based on the Transformers line first released that same year.
In car form, the Ecto 1 looks incredible, almost to the point of not looking like a Transformer at all. In Ectotron form, he wields a proton pack and the set includes a translucent Slimer.
