Thor’s Chris Hemsworth to Play Hulk Hogan in Biopic

Chris Hemsworth will star as Hulk Hogan in an upcoming biopic about the world-famous wrestler.

According to THR, Hemsworth is set to play Hogan in the film, which will be directed by Todd Phillips, who's currently directing the upcoming Joker film with Joaquin Phoenix. Scott Silver, the co-writer of Joker, will pen the film.

The Netflix film will reportedly focus on Hogan's rise to fame and will be similar to an origin story. Per THR, the film will not focus on recent events in Hogan's life, including a high-profile lawsuit against Gawker, which had published a sex tape of Hogan.

Samsung Announces Galaxy S10 Line of Smartphones

10 years after announcing the original Samsung Galaxy, the tech giant has announced the Samsung Galaxy 10 line of smartphones.

Samsung announced the S10, S10+, S10e and S10 5G. The S10 is the standard model while the S10+ increases its display, camera and performance specifications. The 10e is a more compact version with “premium essentials.” Lastly, the S10 5G includes the fastest download speeds of the bunch, and will be available later in 2019.

The Galaxy S10 includes an infinity o-display with its AMOLED screen, which supports HDR 10+ and dynamic tone mapping for small details. It also has an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner under the screen. Users simply press their finger against screen where it naturally rests, which emits ultrasonic waves that analyze your fingerprint and allow you to access the phone. The back of the S10 can also act as a charging station for other Samsung devices.

Marvel’s Wolverine: The Lost Trail Podcast Release Date and Artwork Revealed

Marvel's Wolverine: The Lost Trail, the second season of a podcast series that began last year with Marvel's Wolverine: The Long Night, will be premiering on Stitcher Premium beginning next month.

Marvel's Wolverine: The Lost Trail will follow the events of The Long Night and will once again feature the voice of Richard Armitage (The Hobbit) as Logan.

The 10-episode second season will begin exclusively on Stitcher Premium on March 25, 2019, and will be available on most other podcast platforms "later in the year."

Samsung Announces Galaxy Fold Smartphone

During today’s Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2019 event, the tech company announced the Galaxy Fold, a folding smartphone-tablet hybrid.

The Galaxy Fold sports a 4.6” display when folded, and a 7.3” display in its expanded tablet form. It does so using an infinity-flex display that includes a sophisticated hinge system that creates a “seamless, elegant look."

The phone will come in Cosmos Black, Space Silver, Martian Green and Astro Blue, and customers can personalize the hinge color. When closed, it can make calls and fit in the palm of your hand. When opened, it can view videos, access maps, and more. It also includes three app multitasking, a 7nm processor, 12 gigs of RAM and 510 gigs of onboard memory.

New to Netflix in March

Netflix in March means the return of Arrested Development (for the second half of Season 5), Queer Eye, and Santa Clarita Diet. Plus, high-profile movies like A Clockwork Orange, Apollo 13, The Notebook, The Hurt Locker, and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

Films for the family include Disney's Christopher Robin and Saving Mr. Banks, along with Stuart Little and Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams.

Ubisoft’s Unreleased Pirate Game Skull & Bones to Get a TV Show

Ubisoft’s upcoming Skull & Bones game, which does not yet have an official release date, will be getting its own television show.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, Ubisoft is working with Atlas Entertainment, which has helped produce various DC films and the true crime show Dirty John, to create the show.

The project is being billed as a "female-driven drama set in the lawless frontier of the Indian Ocean at the end of the golden age of piracy in the 1700s.” The Mist’s Amanda Segel will write the pilot and executive produce alongside Atlas Entertainment’s Andy Horwitz and Richard Suckle.
