Blumhouse Doubtful on Happy Death Day 3

The Justice League track the source of that energy burst to Mars. Many of Earth's most powerful heroes, including several Justice League squads and most of the planet's Green Lanterns, converge on the planet and the unknown enemy awaiting them.

Controversial Game Rape Day Won’t Be Allowed on Steam

A controversial game where players assume the role of a sociopath during a zombie apocalypse, called Rape Day, will not be sold on Steam.

Confirmed in an official statement on the Steam Blog, Valve decided not to distribute the game, saying "After significant fact-finding and discussion, we think Rape Day poses unknown costs and risks and therefore won't be on Steam. We respect developers’ desire to express themselves, and the purpose of Steam is to help developers find an audience, but this developer has chosen content matter and a way of representing it that makes it very difficult for us to help them do that."

Captain Marvel’s Brie Larson to Star in, Produce Apple’s CIA Drama Series

Oscar winner Brie Larson will be starring in the untitled drama series based on real-life CIA undercover operative, Amaryllis Fox, reported by THR.

Fox is releasing her memoir, Life Undercover: Coming of Age in the CIA, which the series is based off of, with a release date of October 15, 2019.

Larson will also produce the drama series for Apple, who picked it up as a straight to series deal after a multiple-outlet bidding war.

The show is described as the journey of a young woman in the CIA, told through the viewpoint of her closest relationships. Megan Martin, known for The Following and Animal Kingdom, is reportedly in final negotiations to write the script, according to Variety.

Pokemon: Detective Pikachu Cards Offer Fantastic Looks at Mewtwo, Arcanine and More

Thanks to the reveal of some new Pokemon: Detective Pikachu trading cards, we now have our first look at how Ditto will appear in the live-action world of the movie. The cards also offer a fantastic look at some Pokemon only seen in the background of the trailer, like Arcanine, Charmander, Magikarp, and Slaking, not to mention some sweet looking shots of Mewtwo in all of its psychic glory.

Maleficent 2 Gets New Title, Poster and Release Date

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, the sequel to 2014’s Maleficent, has received a new poster and a fresh release date.

Revealed by Disney, Mistress of Evil will hit theaters on October 18, 2019. The minimalist poster featuring Angelina Jolie as the titular character can be seen below.

The sequel was originally set for a May 29, 2020 release date, but has since been moved up. Jolie will be joined by actress Elle Fanning as Princess Aurora, as well as Michelle Pfeiffer as Queen Ingrith. Other actors include Chiwetel Ejiofor, Ed Skrein, Robert Lindsay and Harris Dickinson. Directed by Joachim Rønning, Mistress of Evil is being written by Linda Woolverton, Micah Fitzerman-Blue and Noah Harpster.

Fortnite vs. Apex Legends: Which Battle Royale is Right For You?

Fortnite’s Season 8 is well underway, bringing with it some changes to the map, including a new jungle biome, a pirate-themed town complete with pirate ship, and a giant, smoldering volcano. There are plenty of new pirate and ninja-themed skins, as well, and of course, a giant cannon weapon to round it all out.

Fortnite isn’t the only big Battle Royale on the block anymore, however, as a new challenger has risen to the occasion. Apex Legends has burst onto the scene finding immediate success, amassing over 50 million players in its first month. The game was an instant hit on Twitch, with many of Fortnite’s most popular streamers opting for the newer Battle Royale experience. Epic Games clearly took notice and tried to entice players by offering a set of Overtime Challenges that rewarded the Season 8 Battle Pass for free if completed in time. Now that Fortnite is facing some stiff competition for champion of the Battle Royale genre, let’s compare the two, so you can determine which game is best for you.
