In an interview with Telegraph, when asked if he and From Software would consider taking on gaming’s fastest growing genres, he said “There’s always the possibility.” He went on to remark that, “These games are definitely fun,” and, “If we did it, it might be a bit different! These Are the Best FreeSync Monitors for Nvidia GPUs

If you’re willing to buy a new monitor, variable refresh rate is one of the best upgrades features you can get. Known as G-Sync on the Nvidia side and FreeSync on the AMD side, they reduce screen tearing and sync your monitor’s refresh rate with your video card’s output for a smoother experience. While FreeSync are easy to come by and affordable, monitors with NVIDIA’s G-Sync are always more expensive, leaving budget-minded GTX users out in the cold, until just recently.

This year at CES, Nvidia announced that it was bringing G-Sync compatibility to some FreeSync monitors with a new driver update. They’ve officially validated 50 monitors as “G-Sync compatible,” but anyone can enable variable refresh rate (VRR) if they have the latest Nvidia drivers and a FreeSync-enabled display—and many have found certain uncertified monitors to work just fine.

Captain Marvel’s 6 Biggest WTF Questions

In the process of delivering the superhero origin story for Carol Danvers, Captain Marvel raised some important questions that don’t have obvious answers and created more than a few continuity problems for the MCU. We had a feeling some of you might’ve also noticed the same issues, so to attempt to answer them we made some educated guesses based on what we know about the MCU and looked to the comics for possible solutions.

How Exactly Did Nick Fury Lose His Eye?

We all remember that line from Captain America: The Winter Soldier where Fury told Cap, “Last time I trusted someone, I lost an eye.” That painted a picture of Fury being tragically betrayed, but turns out the true story is Goose clawed him in the face because he just couldn’t resist cuddling a cute cat, which is totally understandable… if you hadn’t just seen it turn into a nasty tentacle monster from hell. So maybe try not holding him right up to your face?

Captain Marvel’s Cat Goose Explained

Full spoilers follow for Captain Marvel!

Everyone who’s seen Captain Marvel knows that Goose the cat not only steals his scenes in the movie, he also steals the Cosmic Cube. And that’s because he’s not just some mere tabby cat. No, it’s revealed that Goose the cat's species is a Flerken, an alien that just so happens to look exactly like earthly felines …. but with some very shocking and deadly differences.

Introduced in the pages of Ms. Marvel by creators Brian Reed and Roberto De La Torre, the Marvel Comics equivalent of the movie’s Goose was named Chewie — yes, after Star Wars’ Chewbacca, but changed for the movie as an homage to Top Gun and Carol Danvers’ military aviation background. Fun fact: Chewie was also a she, not a he.

Captain Marvel Switched the Gender of This Iconic Comics Character

FULL SPOILERS ahead for Captain Marvel!

Annette Bening plays the original Captain Marvel, the Kree agent known as Mar-Vell, in the new MCU movie of the same name. The Oscar nominee’s character had been shrouded in mystery leading up the film’s release.

As it turns out, Bening pulls triple duty in the film. Not only is she the first Captain Marvel, but her character Mar-Vell also operates under the guise of Project P.E.G.A.S.U.S. scientist Dr. Wendy Lawson. Both Mar-Vell and Lawson were male characters in the original Marvel Comics, the latter appearing in 1967’s Marvel Super Heroes #13 as Dr. Walter Lawson.

Walter Lawson was a human scientist who died when double-crossing Kree commander Yon-Rogg (played in the film by Jude Law) betrayed and tried to kill Mar-Vell, shooting down Lawson’s plane in the process. Mar-Vell then assumed Lawson’s identity to investigate and uncover what Yon-Rogg was plotting for Earth.
