Apex Legends: Respawn Working on Crashes and Cheating, But Not Reconnects

Respawn Entertainment has addressed some of the issues that are impacting Apex Legends and promises fixes are in the works for most problems, except for a requested reconnect feature.

Respawn took to Reddit to speak to its fans and let them know what was in the works behind-the-scenes for the battle royale title that has already passed 50 million players.

It began by discussing how it is dealing with cheaters and announced that they have banned "over 355K players on PC through Easy-Anti-Cheat."

The film, starring Brie Larson in the titular role, earned an estimated $153 million domestically and an additional $302 million internationally for a worldwide total of $455 million, according to Box Office Mojo. This makes Captain Marvel the second-highest MCU solo film debut since Black Panther opened to $202 million domestically last year.

Captain Marvel's domestic opening weekend is the 18th highest of all time, just behind Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which debuted to $155 million in 2016. Worldwide, Captain Marvel now ranks as the sixth-highest opening weekend of all time and the second-highest ever for a Marvel movie, behind only Avengers: Infinity War's $640 million worldwide opening weekend.

So… Marvel just can’t get away from those darned Infinity Stones, can they? Captain Marvel is just the latest movie of many to feature one of the Stones -- in this case, the Tesseract -- even though it’s set about 20 years before the Great Decimation seen at the end of Avengers: Infinity War where Thanos used the stones to wipe out half of all life everywhere.

But before that universe-altering event, Carol Danvers had to contend with just one of the Stones -- the Space Stone. At that point in its history (the film is set in the 1990s), that particular cosmic power source was still contained within the cube known as the Tesseract. And not surprisingly, the appearance of the Tesseract in Captain Marvel has some fans confused.
