4 Sniper Elite Games Just Got Announced

Rebellion just announced a fifth mainline Sniper Elite game, a Sniper Elite VR title, Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate Edition for Switch, and Sniper Elite V2 Remastered. That's a whole lot of new testicles to explode.

Announced in the developer/publisher's livestream by CEO Jason Kingsley, the games are in varying stages of development.

V2 Remastered is due for release on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Switch this year, and brings the original (and all its DLC) to modern platforms with enhanced visuals, including 4K resolution and HDR support. It also adds new playable characters, a photo mode, and expanded multiplayer.

Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate Edition will also arrive on Switch this year, adding local wireless multiplayer and motion controls to the core package. Sniper Elite VR has no scheduled release date, but will see a full reveal later this year.

New Hearthstone Expansion Rise of Shadows Revealed

The latest Hearthstone expansion – Rise of Shadows - has just been revealed! Rise of Shadows will feature 135 new cards, and will launch on April 9 in North America and April 10 in Australia/New Zealand.

The set introduces the “League of E.V.I.L.”; a coalition of returning villains led by Arch-Thief Rafaam, and featuring King Togwaggle, Madam Lazul, Dr. Boom and Hagatha the Witch.

These familiar faces bring with them a number of new gameplay mechanics. Schemes, for instance, are spells that grow in power each turn they’re in your hand. So far we’ve only seen Hagatha’s Scheme, which is obviously a horrible top deck, but can be insanely powerful if given time to charge up.

Battlefield 5’s Firestorm Battle Royale Mode Release Date Announced

Battlefield 5’s long-awaited battle royale mode Firestorm will be added as a free update on March 25.

Firestorm will be a 64-player battle royale with the option to play solo or in squads of four, and will take place on a new map called Halvoy. EA says it’s “Battlefield’s biggest map ever,” roughly 10 times the size of Battlefield 5’s already huge Hamada map, and will have “expansive terrain that ranges from snow-covered mountains to open waterfronts and everything in between.”

A new cinematic reveal trailer gives us a first glimpse at that map and some of the other features of Firestorm, which includes airstrikes, vehicles, and destructible environments. You can watch that trailer above:

The 25 Greatest Batman Graphic Novels

2019 marks the 80th anniversary of one of the oldest and most enduring superheroes ever. What better time to update our list of the 25 best Batman comics and graphic novels ever published?

A few criteria before we get started. This list of essentials is meant to focus on Batman comics that provide a compete, standalone reading experience rather than spotlighting individual issues or long comic runs. They don’t have to have originally been published in graphic novel form, but they do need to be available to read in a single collected edition now. We’re also limiting our focus to stories where Batman himself is the star of the show. Classics like Mad Love and Batgirl: Year One are must-read stories set in the world of Batman, but you won't find them on this list.

In addition to the trailer, a new poster was also revealed that features Thanos and those that survived his devastating snap.

Avengers Poster
