Lex Luthor’s Introduction Will Have a Major Impact on Supergirl
This interview contains spoilers for Supergirl Season 4, episode 15, "O Brother, Where Art Thou?"
Jon Cryer is no stranger to the Superman universe - as Super-fans know, he previously played Lenny Luthor, nephew of Lex, in the critically-derided Superman IV: The Quest for Peace. In fact, it was that role (and the reaction to it) that helped convince the Two and a Half Men star that he should take another swing at the Luthor family tree when the producers of Supergirl came knocking.
"I loved the comics as a kid, and part of the reason that I did Superman 4 was because Superman: The Movie, the first one, changed my life," Cryer told reporters at a recent Supergirl screening. "I think I was 14 years old and the tagline was 'You will believe a man can fly,' and boy I bought it... Superman 4 had very high hopes, but unfortunately was very disappointing to people, and that had always sort of hurt me in a very 14-year-old boy way. And so, I thought, 'this is my chance to do it right.'"

How Heavy Metal Became Netflix’s Love, Death & Robots
Though David Fincher and Tim Miller's stylish, inventive, and often bonkers anthology series Love, Death & Robots hits Netflix this weekend, this collaboration is a long time coming.
Back in March 2008, it was announced that Fincher, then best known for his work on Fight Club, and Tim Miller, most famous for co-founding VFX and animation studio Blur, were working on an omnibus Heavy Metal film. It only took them 11 years to actually bring that concept to life -- albeit in a different form.
Star Trek: Discovery’s Airiam Explains It All
Full spoilers follow for the Star Trek: Discovery episode “Project Daedalus.”
Disco’s resident augmented human Airiam finally got her own story in the most recent episode, “Project Daedalus,” and boy was it something. While Airiam, played this season by Hannah Cheesman, has largely been a background character -- albeit one who had many fans quite intrigued by her mysterious, robotic nature -- this episode gave her a ton to do with the character, finally building out Airiam’s back story while also… gulp… killing her off. 5 Avengers: Endgame Secrets Hidden in the Poster
The MCU is great at hiding all sorts of clues in plain sight in just about any and all promotional material, from trailers to tweets. Naturally, this means that even the official movie poster is more than likely hiding some juicy details just waiting to be noticed.
We did our best to comb through every inch of the newly released Avengers: Endgame poster with that in mind, plucking out every possible clue and character angle we could uncover, from the major (what's going on with Thor?) to the minor (look at Steve using his shield to protect little Rocket) and everything in between.
The Flash’s Ezra Miller Writing Movie Script with Grant Morrison
Ezra Miller, who has played The Flash since Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, is now said to be writing a version of the script for The Flash with comics author Grant Morrison.
As reported by THR, this move is in response to a "clash of creative visions" between directors John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, who want a more light-hearted approach, and Miller who "is said to want a darker take on the material."
Additionally, these sources say that the script may be ready to submitted to the studio as early as next week.
It is said that if WB decides to go against Miller and Morrison's take on The Flash, "the actor could part ways with the project," as "Miller’s holding deal on Flash expires May."
Dwarf Fortress Is the Craziest Game You’ve (Probably) Never Heard Of
Dwarf Fortress is the most incredible and impressive video game you’ve probably never played. Under continuous development since 2003 (!!!) by Tarn Adams, with assistance from his brother Zach, anyone who has enjoyed games like Rimworld, Factorio, and Prison Architect has experienced a portion of the video game DNA that Dwarf Fortress pioneered and has been refining for over 15 years.
Let me explain. No, there is too much. Let me sum up: Dwarf Fortress’s procedural world generation is the most sophisticated and complex in existence, simulating thousands of years of geology, history, myths and Gods, songs, civilizations, animal life, and everything else. Then you get to build a dwarven fortress in this world, capable of a matching level of fanatical attention-to-detail. This detail extends to the smallest minutiae - body parts can be bruised or torn off entirely in combat, dwarves might vomit or pass out at the site of blood, or maybe all the towns cats will get alcohol poisoning from drinking spilled ale; the level of simulation feels endless. But these details also extend upward, to the highest levels of macro simulation as well. Wars can be provoked or prevented. World economies can be shifted.
An 8th Goku Is Coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ
Update: Bandai Namco has confirmed that the younger Goku from Dragon Ball GT will be added as part of the FighterZ Pass 2, which include six new characters in total. The announcement states that he "packs a big punch with special attacks like the Super Kamehameha attack, transforming him into Super Saiyan 3. Goku is also able to use his Super Spirit Bomb, Power Pole, and Reverse Kamehameha to flatten the competition."
Original story follows:
Despite Dragon Ball FighterZ’s 30+ character roster currently sitting at roughly 10-20% Goku (depending on how you count it), an upcoming DLC will reportedly be adding another Goku as a playable fighter.
