Anthem’s New Stronghold Caches Won’t Contain Armour
Anthem players are upset following the news that Elysian Stronghold Caches will not contain new armor sets, but will instead feature new vinyls, animations, victory poses, and emotes.
As reported by VG247, some of this confusion occurred following a livestream comment and when some Anthem players tweeted Bioware lead producer Ben Irving and asked when they can expect to be able to earn and/or acquire new armor sets.
Irving originally replied, offering a bit of hope, saying that "Eysian chests should be up next week," which led many players to believe these caches would contain armor sets.
A Second Apex Legend Character Will Hit During Season 1
A second character will arrive in Apex Legends before the end of Season 1, bringing the roster up to 10 Legends.
The news comes from Sony’s page for Apex Legends on the PlayStation website, which notes that “two new characters will launch over the course of the season”, complete with a full set of cosmetics each.
Developer Respawn had already noted in the Apex Legends roadmap that new characters would arrive each season, but there had been no indication as to how many we could expect. The PlayStation website makes clear, however, that one new Legend will arrive within the next 12 weeks.

Cheaper Nintendo Switch to Launch by June, According to Report
Update 4/24: A new report indicates that Nintendo will launch a new, cheaper version of Nintendo Switch by the end of June, with a “modest” upgrade to the existing model allegedly coming later this year.
In a financial report by Bloomberg, a small excerpt suggests the cheaper Switch model is coming very soon. An outright "more powerful version” is allegedly not in the works, though details on this claim are sparse. Whether this alludes to a PS4 Pro or Xbox One X-like hardware boost, or simply a series of hardware redesigns akin to the DS Lite remains to be seen. The report is based on claims from two unnamed sources.

Us Tops Box Office With Second-Best Opening Weekend of 2019
Jordan Peele's new horror film, Us, has claimed the top spot at the box office, becoming the second-best opening weekend of the year while Captain Marvel moves to second place.
The over $70 million opening makes Peele's new film the third-best horror opening of all time, and the best opening for an original horror film, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The only horror films with bigger openings are It ($123.4 million) and the 2018 Halloween sequel ($76.2 million).

New My Hero Academia Movie Coming This Winter
A new My Hero Academia film is in the works.
According to Crunchyroll, the new film will hit theaters this winter in Japan and series creator, Kohei Horikoshi, will oversee production. The film will feature an original story, and no western release date has been announced.
Toho announced the upcoming film at the 2019 Plus Ultra Stage at AnimeJapan. This marks the second full-length My Hero Academia feature film to be produced.

Captain Marvel Bumps Iron Man From MCU’s Box Office Top 10
Captain Marvel soared past two more major milestones at the box office in its third weekend in release.
First, Captain Marvel crossed the $300 million mark domestically. The MCU's 21st film also passed the $900 million threshold at the worldwide box office.
With roughly $321.5 million taken in at the North American box office, Captain Marvel has now cracked the MCU's Top 10 performers at the North American box office, bumping the very first MCU film, 2008's Iron Man, out of it to take 10th place. Iron Man is now at No. 11 with $318.4 million.
Captain Marvel will surpass Spider-Man: Homecoming ($334.2 million) and Guardians of the Galaxy ($333.2 million) in the coming days.
