Borderlands 3’s Box Art Has Been Leaked and It’s Wild

The box art for Borderlands 3 has been leaked, and it depicts the series’ Psycho mascot posed like Jesus Christ.

The art, leaked by prominent games Twitter figure Wario64, sees the Pyscho dressed in a robe with a glowing Borderlands logo forming a halo around his head. He’s holding his hand up in the ‘blessing’ style manner that Jesus is often depicted with, although here the Pyscho is holding up three fingers (because Borderlands 3). A buzz-saw substitutes a walking stick, and the Sacred Heart of Jesus is replaced by a hand grenade. Because of course it is.

Game of Thrones Water Show Hits the Bellagio in Las Vegas

As HBO readies the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones, it is also celebrating the series with a "first-of-its-kind, immersive production in Las Vegas at the iconic Fountains of Bellagio."

HBO, MGM Resorts and WET Design have partnered to debut this water show the features music and imagery from Game of Thrones. The show will run three times nightly, at 8pm, 9:30pm, and 10:30pm, and will end on April 13, the day before the premiere of the final season.

The show promises that "blizzards rage, dragons fly, and for the first time the lake is set ablaze." WET Design has even worked with Game of Thrones' composer Ramin Djawadi to incorporate a custom score to the show that will, of course, take inspiration from the GoT's theme song.

We Saw Detective Pikachu Interrogate Mr. Mime

Following a pre-recorded greeting to attendees from Detective Pikachu (voiced by Ryan Reynolds), Warner Bros. showed an amusing scene from the upcoming film Pokémon: Detective Pikachu at Tuesday's CinemaCon.

In the scene, Tim Goodman (Justice Smith) and Detective Pikachu play good cop/bad cop to interrogate Mr. Mime.

Tim and Pikachu want to know why Tim's missing dad Harry Goodman was there and what else is going on, but Mr. Mime mimes to them that they can shove it.

Mr. Mime then creates an invisible wall to ward them off.

Tim nevertheless opens the door and starts to mime pouring gasoline on Mr. Mime and lighting matches in order to make him talk, but an unfazed Mr. Mime blows out the “matches” and mocks them.

Here’s What the Joker Trailer Shows

Warner Bros. screened the first footage from Joker at CinemaCon on Tuesday, presenting the press and attendees with an early look at the new trailer before it drops Wednesday. And the trailer isn’t what you might expect from a comic book movie trailer. In fact, Joker doesn’t seem like a comic book movie at all despite being set in Gotham City and including Bruce Wayne.

The Joker trailer is character-driven, at times morose and then operatic. Joker, judging from the teaser trailer, is definitely about a "laughing on the inside" type of clown.

The Joker is directed by The Hangover's Todd Phillips and stars Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck, a downtrodden outsider and struggling comedian who becomes the Clown Prince of Crime. The movie is set in the 1980s, with New York City locations doubling as Gotham City.

Game of Thrones: Will the Battle of Winterfell End in Disaster?

HBO has released another batch of teasers for Game of Thrones Season 8. As with several past teasers, the goal is clearly less to showcase actual footage from the show's final season and more to set the tone for things to come. And once again, things are looking pretty bleak for Daenerys Targaryen, Jon Snow and the other defenders of Westeros.

This particular teaser takes us on a tour of an eerily quiet and empty Winterfell. The ancestral home of the Stark family is covered in snow and littered with discarded personal effects. Our takeaway from this footage is that the much-hyped Battle of Winterfell is going to go very poorly for our heroes. Here's why we think Dany, Jon and the rest will suffer a major defeat before triumphing over the White Walkers.

Dangerous Driving Is Blatantly (and Happily) EXACTLY Like Burnout

If it seems like you've heard "Burnout is back!" before, it's because it has indeed come back already. Or at least, part of it did, in the form of Danger Zone, which was basically Crash Mode: The Game. It was a flawed attempt, for sure, but developer Three Fields Entertainment – a small UK studio comprised of some of the original Burnout creators – absolutely nailed it with their second try, Danger Zone 2.

And so they'd done it! Burnout's most beloved mode had successfully returned, but sadly, almost nobody seemed to notice. To Three Fields's credit, however, they have doubled down and are about to release Dangerous Driving, which is basically the rest of Burnout, outside of Crash mode. Road Rage (see the video directly below), Races, Burning Laps (evolved here to Heatwaves, where you can endlessly chain turbo together), Elimination, and an awesome new Road Rage-y mode called Pursuit (see the bottom video on this page) bring the rest of the Burnout suite to modern platforms.
