Disney Confirms New Mutants Will Still Get a Theatrical Release
Disney confirmed at CinemaCon 2019 that The New Mutants X-Men film from 21st Century Fox will still receive a theatrical release this year.
During Disney’s presentation, Disney boss Alan Horn confirmed The New Mutants will be hitting theaters this year, instead of simply receiving a streaming-only release that some have anticipated.
A release slate graphic shown at the convention further confirmed Disney’s intention to give the film a theatrical release this year. A representative from Fox elaborated that some Fox movie dates will be shifted from their original schedules, but did not specifically mention The New Mutants.
The New Mutants’ most recent official release date is August 2, 2019, though this tentative date appears to be highly unlikely considering Disney’s recent acquisition of 21st Century Fox, and what little we’ve seen of the film over the past year. Actress Maisie Williams recently revealed that she doesn’t know “what the f**k is going on” with The New Mutants release either.
When I Died on GOT: One of Westeros’ Most Ambitious Women Looks Back
In honor of the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones, IGN is taking a look back at some of the iconic characters who've fallen along the way, and the lasting impact they had on the story. These heroes and villains may not have made it to the end of the road, but their lives weren't in vain - they stand as a fitting reminder that when you play the game of thrones, you win, or you die.
Despite being a character created for the show, Ros managed to do pretty well for herself over the course of the three seasons she lived on Game of Thrones. She climbed her way up from a brothel in the North near Winterfell to the corridors of power in King's Landing, working for master manipulators Littlefinger and Varys to influence the politics of the Seven Kingdoms.

Remedy Was Working on Alan Wake 2 But “It Didn’t Pan Out”
Remedy was once working on Alan Wake 2, but the project never made it off the ground.
Talking to VG247 at PAX East, Remedy's director of communications, Thomas Puha, said “We were working on Alan Wake 2 years ago and it just didn’t pan out.”
The studio has no plans to develop a sequel to its 2010 psychological horror game in the immediate future, either. “We’re just booked solid for the next couple of years, really,” Puha said.
Remedy is currently finishing up development of Control, which is due out this year. Beyond that, the studio has a team working on Crossfire, which Remedy has inherited from Korean developer Smilegate. Then there’s the ‘Vanguard’ team, who are laying the groundwork for Remedy’s next large-scale project. With all of this going on, there’s neither the time, money and resources to work on Alan Wake 2.

Apex Legend’s Unreleased L-Star Leaked in Loot Packs
A couple of Legendary skins for Apex Legends’ unreleased L-Star weapon have been leaked.
Shared on Twitter by user RealApexLeaks, two off-screen photographs show the Apex Hyperdrive and Alien Invasion skins for the L-Star. Both feature flashy red colour schemes, making them look like gun/race car hybrids.
The tweet claims that players were receiving L-Star skins before “the servers went down”, referring to a server shut down that had to be performed after Apex Legends suffered a progression issue caused by the 1.1 update. It also theorises that the player progression was reset to erase the skins players obtained, but there’s no official word from developer Respawn or publisher EA to support that idea.
