Marvel Boss on Disney’s Decision to Rehire James Gunn for GOTG 3

IGN spoke one-on-one with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige on Sunday about Disney's recent rehiring of James Gunn to direct Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 ... and whether Marvel really would have recast Dave Bautista in the role of Drax as the actor and vocal Gunn supporter had dared Disney to do.

Walt Disney Studios chairman Alan Horn fired Gunn from Guardians Vol. 3 in July 2018 over controversial tweets the filmmaker posted years ago and Horn was the one who ultimately rehired Gunn last month after accepting his contrition.

WrestleMania 35 Live Blog and Match Results

Are you ready for hours and hours AND HOURS of wrestling because...it's WrestleMania 35 time!

Still reeling from Bret Hart being attacked by an "over-exuberant fan" (WWE's words, not mine) at the Hall of Fame Ceremony? Still shook from an over-exuberant Enzo crashing the ROH/NJPW G1 Supercard at the Garden? Well, we've still got sixteen matches to plow through. Two of which are Battle Royals. One of which has freakin' SNL cast members in it. So we're not out of the woods yet!

At least 'Mania 35 falls squarely in-between Walking Dead's finale and Game of Thrones' premiere, because I for one remember when, years ago, that all happened on the same night. It was not ideal. This year, 'Mania is free and clear and ready to serve up an overtly overstuffed card. But there's a silver lining: Kofi Kingston has a shot at winning the WWE Championship, Seth Rollins just might topple Brock Lesnar and walk out as Universal Champion, and "The Man" Becky Lynch is primed and ready to go over Ronda Rousey and Charlotte to bring her both womens' women's titles - in a match that will make history by going on last!

Captain Marvel Wasn’t Brie Larson’s First Time Playing Carol Danvers

While the cast and filmmakers were understandably tight-lipped about what happens in Avengers: Endgame during Sunday's press conference for the Marvel film, Captain Marvel actress Brie Larson did confirm longstanding rumors about which MCU film was her first.

"This film

will always be personally dear to me because it was my first time playing Captain Marvel," Larson said from a stage that included several of her co-stars as well as directors Joe and Anthony Russo and producer Kevin Feige.

"We shot this first so I had to stumble and figure out who this character was with no script for this and no script for Captain Marvel either and perform for the first time in front of legends. But it was incredible," Larson recalled.

When I Died on Game of Thrones: Death by Family

In honor of the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones, IGN is taking a look back at some of the iconic characters who've fallen along the way, and the lasting impact they had on the story. These heroes and villains may not have made it to the end of the road, but their lives weren't in vain - they stand as a fitting reminder that when you play the game of thrones, you win, or you die.

Roose Bolton wasn't the cruelest member of his family, but that's not a very high bar to set. Though introduced in Season 2 as a Stark bannerman, Roose came to the forefront as one of the show's key villains after viciously betraying the Starks at the Red Wedding, ruthlessly stabbing an already dying Robb Stark and uttering the infamous words, "The Lannisters send their regards."

Why Kevin Feige Says This Endgame Hawkeye Twist Isn’t a Spoiler

UPDATED: IGN spoke one-on-one with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige on Sunday at the Avengers: Endgame press junket where he told us that the reveal of Hawkeye's adoption of the Ronin guise was NOT a spoiler.

"You gotta be looking at that stuff to see it, so I figure if I wanna know all the secrets of, you know, whatever big sequel - Episode Nine. I could dig deep enough online and find it. I just think it's all out there, but I don't do that," Feige said. "Ronin was in the trailers. I mean, he was in the marketing materials."

Feige continued, "And because Hawkeye had been so absent in Infinity War, we though it'd be fun, as far as the marketing to showcase one of the many different aspects of this movie is that he's in it, and answering the question, sort of, where has he been?"

Game of Thrones: SVU Is the Spinoff We Never Knew We Needed

Saturday Night Live had exactly as much fun as you'd imagine with Game of Thrones star Kit Harington's hosting gig on April 6. In addition to a self-deprecating monologue in which Harington's GOT co-stars grilled him for spoilers about the show's ending, SNL also came up with a number of new Game of Thrones prequel, sequel, spinoff and crossover series ideas - and some of them sound pretty great.

First up, a Riverdale-esque "sexy, moody drama about forbidden love" between Jon Snow and a white walker, who doesn't see why her undead status should affect their relationship, since Jon was previously dead too.

Game of Thrones Stars Grill Kit Harington for Spoilers During SNL Monologue

Kit Harington, Jon Snow on Game of Thrones, was the host of Saturday Night Live tonight and his opening monologue included some familiar faces asking for answers about the final season of HBO's hit series.

Harington took the stage - without Snow's trademark beard - and began taking questions from the audience after self-deprecatingly mentioning his other acting credits, which include "hits" like Pompeii and Silent Hill: Revelation.

First up was none other than Emilia Clarke, Daenerys Targaryen herself, who asked Harington, "Could you just give us a general sense of how it ends?" After Harington reminded her she was in the show, Clarke confessed that it's been so long since the last season and that she only talks to a dragon, which is actually just a tennis ball on a green pole, so she has no idea what's going on.
