Game of Thrones Writer Joins Lord of the Rings Project at Amazon
Amazon is reportedly getting veteran fantasy producer Bryan Cogman to consult for their upcoming Lord of the Rings series.
According to sources close to Variety, Cogman, who served as both a writer and an executive producer on Game of Thrones, has already signed on to consult for the show, although Amazon told IGN they have no comment at this time.
Cogman, whose most recent work includes writing for the second episode of Game of Thrones' final season, is also set to write for the upcoming live-action adaptation of The Sword in the Stone for Disney. Cogman was also tapped to write for a Game of Thrones spin-off series for HBO, but he told Variety the project was "not moving forward."

Revealed by The Terminator himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger posted on Twitter "Since I’m from the future I can officially report that the Dark Fate trailer is 48 hours away.” This was accompanied by a text video that confirmed the trailer will drop on May 23, 2019 at 6:00 am PST/9:00 am EST/2:00 pm UK/11 pm AEST.

The NPD report for April 2019 is in, and Mortal Kombat 11 and Days Gone were the month’s best-selling games in the United States.
The report, with analysis from Mat Piscatella, notes that Mortal Kombat 11 instantly became the second best-selling game of 2019 year-to-date, and was the best-selling game on every platform it was released on: PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. This is the first time a third-party published game has been Nintendo Switch’s best-selling title since Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle was released in 2017.
Days Gone’s debut month sales rank as the seventh highest in history for a Sony-published game, and in the time since its release has already become the best-selling game developed by Sony Bend in lifetime revenue.
