Rotten Tomatoes Introduces ‘Verified’ Audience Review/Ratings System

Rotten Tomatoes has announced and detailed its “verified” audience review and ratings system, making it easier for users to determine which reviews were written by someone who has actually seen the movie.

For eligible movies from today onward, audience scores will include fans who have been confirmed to have purchased tickets to the movie they’re reviewing. While all fans are still able to write a review regardless of if they’ve been verified for that movie, those who have will display a “verified” badge with their written reviews. According to official images shared by Rotten Tomatoes, verified and “all audience” review scores can be viewed separately.

HBO Boss Responds to Game of Thrones Finale Backlash

HBO programming president Casey Bloys has responded to the fan backlash surrounding the Game of Thrones series finale 'The Iron Throne,' saying you have to take the online reaction “with a grain of salt."

In an interview with Deadline, Bloys was asked if he was surprised how fans reacted to the finale, saying "No. To tell you the truth, for a show this big and this sprawling and for a show that has this passionate a fan base, I don’t think there is any way that all fans would’ve been happy. I think based on online reaction, which you do have to take with a grain of salt, it does seem split and I think that’s about right — some people are going to love it, some people are going to hate it. But the point is, everybody is feeling really passionate about it.

While The Division 2's Dark Hours raid's difficulty has been a point of contention, especially for console players, developer Massive Entertainment says it currently has no plans to adjust the challenge.

As reported by VG247, the Dark Hours raid launched last week and it took five hours for the first PC players to complete it. However, console players could not complete the raid until the third day it was available.

Currently, over 7,000 PC players have completed the Dark Hours raid, while only 200 people have completed it on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This has caused many fans to speak out and request some changes to be made to the difficulty.
