The Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge theme park doesn't open until May 31st at Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif. (and not until August 29th at Disney World in Orlando, Fla.) but fortunately you don't have to wait that long to get a sneak peek inside the long-awaited Star Wars theme park.

IGN was lucky enough to get early media access to Galaxy's Edge -- but don't worry, we used this power of the Force for good, not evil. Click below for 113 photos revealing the inside look at the food, merch, Millennium Falcon Smugglers Run ride and, of course, a look at Galaxy's Edge itself. Editor's Note: This slideshow has been updated with official Disneyland imagery of the park, as well as additional looks at Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities.

A New Need for Speed Is Coming in 2019, But Won’t Be at E3

EA has reiterated that it is developing a new Need for Speed game, confirming that it will be released “later in 2019” but it won’t be unveiled as part of this year’s EA Play showcase during E3.

“Are you going to hear more about the next NFS title? Yes. Is it being released this year? Yes. Will we be doing anything in June? No,” wrote EA’s Ben Walke in a statement published on the company’s official site.

Walke noted that 2019 marks the 25th anniversary of the Need for Speed series but no real details of 2019’s instalment were discussed.

The last game in the series, Need for Speed Payback, was released in 2017. It was criticised on IGN for its insidious, F2P-inspired, RNG-based upgrade system and its superficial and linear police chases and action sequences.

Batman Writer to Script New Gods Movie for Director Ava DuVernay

Tom King, known for writing the Rebirth-era Batman comics for DC, will reportedly co-write the script for the upcoming New Gods movie with director Ava DuVernay.

Reported by The Wrap, the duo will adapt Jack Kirby’s New Gods series of comics, which he first created back in 1971. New Gods involves the natives of two planets: the pristine New Genesis ruled by Highfather and the nightmarish Apokolips ruled by Darkseid. Once part of the same world, Urgrund, the two were split after the death of the “Old Gods” during Ragnarok.

Beyond Batman, King is well-known for his work on Mister Miracle, for which he won a 2018 Eisner Award for best writer. Mister Miracle was another of Kirby’s creations, and was part of his Fourth World storyline that also involved New Gods and Forever People. Justice League villain Steppenwolf and the Mother Box are also Kirby's creations from the Fourth World Saga.
