Screenshots Reveal Cancelled Spider-Man Game That Became Prototype 2
Wayne Dalton, who was previously a senior environment artist at Radical Entertainment, has shared some screenshots and details of a cancelled Spider-Man 4 that ended up becoming Prototype 2.
On ArtStation, Dalton shared some screenshots of what was once Spider-Man 4, with different scenes featuring our favorite Web Slinger, as well as office furniture and newspaper articles from the Daily Bugle.
Alongside these images, Dalton said "the studio ended up massaging this into what became Prototype 2. Programmers did an amazing job on Spider mans locomotion & wed physics. shame there's no footage."
FromSoft and George R.R. Martin’s Game Reportedly Leaked
After rumors suggesting A Song of Ice & Fire author George R.R. Martin and Bloodborne developers were working on a game together, new details suggest that title, Elden Ring, may reportedly be revealed at E3 2019, alongside several other alleged Bandai Namco games.
As posted by industry analyst Daniel Ahmad (ZhugeEx on Twitter) and posted on 4chan, as reported by Game Informer, FromSoftware is allegedly set to reveal Elden Ring, a new RPG world from Hidetaka Miyazaki and George R.R. Martin.
Fans React to Alleged Ninja Theory New Game Leak
This morning, an alleged leak of Ninja Theory’s upcoming multiplayer game, purportedly called Bleeding Edge, made its way across the internet - and fan reactions are decidedly mixed.
Revealed on the Slovak site xboxer.sk, the leak is comprised of a short trailer covered by a “Confidential” watermark. It begins with the Xbox logo, making way for the words “Ninja Theory” followed by a colorful cast of characters wielding various weapons, walking in groups of four towards each other. The words “Combat,” “Action” and “4 vs 4” then appear on screen, followed by “Online” and “Melee.”
