Scientists Discover Massive Mystery Blob Inside the Moon

In a report that sounds like it was ripped straight from a sci-fi movie, scientists have unexpectedly discovered a massive blob under the surface of the moon. Emphasis on massive -- it’s five times the size of the 75.91-mile wide Big Island of Hawaii and would weigh roughly 4.8 quintillion pounds on Earth.

According to a study published by a group of scientists in Geophysical Research Letters, the subsurface mass was discovered on the dark side of the moon 180 miles beneath the surface of its largest crater called the South Pole-Aitkin basin.

Seybold also clarified that name-changing, and the one-time free change, is not a Stadia Pro-exclusive feature. However, he did not not speak to what the name change service would cost. We'll update you on that as we find out more.

Stadia, Google’s foray into the home console/streaming market, will allow users to change their names at any time they want, according to a Google spokesperson.

Gods & Monsters Isn’t Just a Breath of the Wild Clone

At first glance you’d be forgiven for thinking Gods & Monsters, the newest open-world entry in the Ubisoft catalogue, is a sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of Wild. The playful, welcoming art style, the green rolling hills with an always-inviting horizon, and the small, unimposing hero at its core all bring Nintendo’s 2017 masterpiece to mind. Indeed, when I got the chance to see a few minutes - running via Google Stadia on a Pixel phone - the gameplay heavily evoked Zelda as well. It’s clear that God & Monsters is aimed to appeal to as big and wide an audience as possible, and with that goal in mind, what better game to model yourself on than Breath of the Wild?

Keanu Reeves is playing a rocker named Johnny Silverhand in Cyberpunk 2077, lead man in a band called Samurai - but according to him, he won’t be doing his owning singing.

We spoke to Reeves during E3 2019, and when we asked if CD Projekt Red was going to have him perform Silverhand’s songs himself, he said “no, they don’t want me to sing,” with a bit of disappointment in his voice.

Jessica Jones’s Erik Gelden Has A Weird Marvel History

Warning: this Erik Gelden explainer contains spoilers for Jessica Jones Season 3.

The cancellation of Jessica Jones means the end of Netflix's Marvel Universe. Fortunately, the series was able to add a couple more Marvel Comics characters to this shared universe before the end. Not only did Foolkiller serve as the season's main villain, Jessica's new partner/love interest Erik Gelden is based (albeit very loosely) on the villain Mind-Wave.

Cat Filter Turns Pakistani Political Press Conference Into Feline Farce

Politician Shaukat Yousafzai was the unwilling recipient of an accidental cattening during a press conference for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party.

The conference, which was being broadcast on the party's Facebook page, had its tone unknowingly shifted from politics as usual to something much cuter when someone accidentally activated a cat filter.

Yousafzai was the most heavily affected, but other officials in the frame were also struck by pink kitten ears, button noses and adorable whiskers.

Spiritfarer is All About Making Friends With the Deceased

I have a few weaknesses that will instantly interest me in a game: Stealth games that don't let you shoot your way out. Exploring creepy forgotten ruins and piecing the lore together. NPCs that give you actual directions instead of putting a big marker on your map. After playing Spiritfarer for 10 seconds, I found another weakness - being able to hug almost every character you meet. Sure it may be a gimmick, but it's also the most genuine way to show your appreciation for a non-player character in any game in recent memory. Think about all the friends you've made in Animal Crossing that never really knew how much they meant to you. With Spiritfarer, you get a double-edged sword of being able to connect with the people you meet and make an impact in their lives (afterlives?), but must be ready to eventually say goodbye.
