Super Mario Maker 2 Is June 2019’s Best-Selling Game
The Nintendo Switch exclusive Super Mario Maker 2 was the best-selling game in June, followed by Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled, while the Nintendo Switch was the month's best-selling console.
According to the NPD Group, reporting the top-selling games of the month and the year so far, noted Mario Maker 2's launch month surpassed both the original Super Mario Maker as well as the 3DS version's respective launch months. Meanwhile, the Nintendo Switch is not only June's best-selling console but also all of 2019's so far. And, according to NPD, the Switch is the only console in 2019 showing year-over-year growth (it did, of course, launch later than both the PS4 and Xbox One.)
The Walking Dead: Negan Comic a Future Possibility for Robert Kirkman
The Walking Dead comic series may have ended, but that doesn’t mean Robert Kirkman is done telling stories in that world, especially when it comes to Negan. The closing pages of the series finale issue contained a letter from Kirkman to the fans reflecting on the ending of the comic, but he left us with one final teaser: “PS - Negan lives.”
During Kirkman’s fan Q&A panel at San Diego Comic Con 2019, he was asked for more information on Negan and whether that postscript teaser could lead to another Walking Dead comic showing what happened to the fan-favorite character.
Marvel’s Avengers Gameplay Demo Being Released Publicly After Gamescom – Comic Con 2019
San Diego Comic Con attendees at the Marvel Games Panel got an early look at gameplay for Square Enix's Avengers game. But Crystal Dynamics confirmed that this demo footage will be publicly available a week after Gamescom in August.
During the Marvel Games Panel, Crystal Dynamics showed off footage from its upcoming Marvel's Avengers game. Along with an extended gameplay video, Crystal Dynamics showed off the customization menu for Avengers. Crystal Dynamics director Shaun Escayg says that players will be able to customize Heroes with "classic, fan-favorite, and all-new outfits."
Similarly, players will be able to customize how their heroes play by unlocking new skills and choosing the gear that suits their play styles. So one player's Captain America could look and play differently from someone else's Captain America. Some suits will be inspired by the comics, while others will be original. Thor in full Viking armor, Hulk in a mafia-style suit, Captain America in a gray suit were shown off during the Hall H panel.

What does the future hold for the continuing series about the toys that we all know and love? Season 3 features Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Power Rangers, My Little Pony, and Wrestling Figures."

Stranger Things Star Addresses Lingering Question About Will
MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD for Stranger Things Season 3
Stranger Things’ Noah Schnapp, who plays Will Byers, has addressed fan conversation around a scene that could suggest his character is gay.
The scene in question takes place in episode 3, and sees Will become upset that Mike and Lucas would rather discuss their relationships with Eleven and Max rather than play Dungeons & Dragons. In response, Mike says “It’s not my fault you don’t like girls,” resulting in a devastated Will riding off on his bike.
But what was meant by that comment? “It’s really up to interpretation,” Schnapp said in an interview with TheWrap. “While all the characters were out developing and growing up, Will was in the Upside Down and he was alone there, not interacting with or connected to his friends or the rest of the world. And when he got back, he expected everything to just go back to how it was before, how it was when he was normal and when he was a kid and he wanted to go back to the basement and play D&D.”

As expected, Reno the Relicologist continues the tradition of Reno being associated with “no duplicates” decks in which you restrict your deck to only one copy of each card in order to get a big pay-off.
