The Walking Dead Season 10 Trailer Teases the Whisperer War
The cast and producers of The Walking Dead hit the Hall H stage at Comic-Con to tease the upcoming tenth season, which will go deep into the Whisperer War from Robert Kirkman's comics. The premiere date for The Walking Dead Season 10 is October 6.
"I'm excited in Season 10 because we're finding new ways to explore the story," said showrunner Angela Kang. "We're getting into a whole different style of war than the last time ... the Whisperers are a really different type of enemy, so we'll see what it's like to be in a Whisperer War."
Robert Kirkman addressed his surprising decision to end the Walking Dead comics and what it means for the future of the TV series. "The comic book is something very special to me, and over the life of it you could see how it became Rick Grimes' story and Carl Grimes' story, and that story came to a natural end point," Kirkman said. "But this show is about the world and we've proven that with the last season. So anyone concerned that Season 10 will surprise end with episode 4... it won't. There's a lot more story to tell, I'm very excited to work with Angela and Scott
First Rick and Morty Season 4 Footage Revealed
Update: A second clip was shown at the end of the Rick and Morty panel, one which isn't being released online.
This clip, which was said to be a cold-opening to a Season 4 episode, was much longer but still in rough animatic form. It begins with Jerry attempting to hang Christmas lights and, in true Jerry fashion, falling off the ladder to his near death. Luckily, Rick is able to blast him with a ray that makes Jerry's body lighter than air and his shoes heavier, achieving perfect buoyancy and giving Jerry ten hours in which to enjoy his new bounce powers.
From there, Rick and Morty head into space on another adventure, until Rick's ship gets a flat tire. He orders Morty to stay inside the ship, but the defiant Morty disobeys and winds up being bitten by a space snake. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Veronica Mars Season 4 is Streaming on Hulu a Week Early
Hulu has announced that the new season of Veronica Mars is streaming a week early. Instead of waiting until July 26 for the new season, Veronica Mars fans can see the full eight-episode season on Hulu right now.
Veronica Mars Season 4 sees the eponymous character (played by Kristen Bell) return to her home city of Neptune, CA where she now works with her dad as a private investigator. The homecoming goes awry when a series of bombings terrorize the city.
The fourth season sees Mars embracing her detective role professionally, a path she first started in high school when she took it upon herself to find out who murdered her best friend Lilly Kane (Amanda Seyfried).
Veronica Mars originally ran for three seasons, first on UPN then The CW, before the series ended in 2007. The series combined the noir detective genre with a high school setting, except in Season 3 when the series followed Mars to college. Series creator Rob Thomas later successfully funded a Veronica Mars feature film on Kickstarter, and the Veronica Mars movie was released in 2014.

Rick and Morty Season 5 Will Arrive Much Faster than Season 4
Rick and Morty is getting a fifth season, and it's coming sooner than fans might be expecting. Even though Season 4 is still months off, creators Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon confirmed at Comic Con today that work is well underway on Season 5.
Harmon said, "It took us a year and a half to get in writing we were allowed to do the show. There was a lot of stuff that happened in between 3 and 4 that will never have to happen again."
Harmon later elaborated on the behind-the-scenes difficulties that caused such a large gap between Season 3 and 4, describing it as a prolonged contract negotiation made more complicated by corporate changes at WarnerMedia.
"It was in the midst of a giant merger," said Harmon. "It's the fault of systems. We want to be able to do this show for a living. It took that long, and that's both sides talking."
Marvel Editor Teases New X-Men Comic Would be Perfect for MCU
Marvel Comics editor Jordan White joined IGN’s Joshua Yehl at Comic Con 2019 to discuss the future of Marvel Comics, but just because Marvel Comics is a separate business from Marvel Studios, that doesn’t mean White can’t imagine certain comics turning into film source material. White teased that the upcoming X-Men comic House of X #2 would make a great bit of inspiration for the MCU.
Marvel Comics writer Jonathan Hickman (known for his work on Fantastic Four, Avengers, and Secret Wars) is responsible for the upcoming X-Men books, House of X and Powers of X. A number of concepts found in his Avengers work have been adapted into scenes in MCU films, such as the Battle of Wakanda and Thanos' Black Order supervillain team. White said that he thinks Hickman’s work on House of X’s second issue could prove to be similarly fertile ground for adaptation.
