Surprise Saga Release Collects All 54 Issues Into One Compendium
For the first time ever, the entire Saga comic series (thus far) is being compiled into one single compendium. Even better, it’s in paperback. Even better than that, it’s out tomorrow.
The appropriately titled Saga: Compendium One was originally scheduled to release in September. It collects volumes one through nine of the enormously popular science fiction series, amounting to more than 1,200 pages, all written by Brian K. Vaughan and illustrated by Fiona Staples.
You can find Saga: Compendium One at your local comic shop starting tomorrow, but it won’t be heading to larger storefronts like Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-a-Million, Indiebound, and Indigo until August 27.
The Destroy All Humans Remake Is Aiming For Replayability
When the remake of 2005’s Destroy All Humans was first announced before E3 2019, I was glad to see Crypto 137 returning to the silver screen. I’m not sure how the game’s crude, sense of humor will stand up when it releases in 2020, but it’s good to see that a remake of a game I remember loving as a teen isn’t just getting pushed out the door with a up-rezzed coat of paint to make a quick buck.
As the team at Black Forest told us when we first saw the Destroy All Humans, this isn’t about building a 1:1 remake of the original, rather, creating a game that’s “not a remake, but a remake of what people remember it being.”
Amazon’s The Boys: The Deep Gets His Own 2019-2020 Calendar
Amazon's The Boys has received its very own special edition 2019-2020 calendar featuring Chace Crawford's The Deep, and IGN can give you a sneak peek at the treasures buried in its pages.
The hilarious calendar includes the usual US holidays along with a few aquatic-themed days as well: "Save the Dolphin Day," "National Seafood Bisque Day," "Jellyfish Day," etc. Check out the entire calendar in the gallery below.

Synced: Off-Planet Let’s You Stare Down Human Extinction with Your Own Face
Synced: Off-Planet, the new PvPvE shooter being published by multinational conglomerate Tencent, wants you to send photos of yourself to them in order to get your face in the game. That way you can truly see how you’d hold up against a cyborg uprising from the comfort of your own home.
It’s a feature reminiscent of Tony Hawk’s Underground, where you were only one email and a few hours of processing time away from seeing your blocky face performing McTwists on a New Jersey cul-de-sac. But in the age of FaceApp and the willingness of people to sign their likenesses over to such companies, this sounds like a far less appealing novelty. In Synced’s case, all you’ll need to do is send 4 photos of your various facial angles over to developer NeXT Studios. Then in the span of a week, your images will be studied in a photogrammetry studio in China, with the end result being a fully realised 3D version of your head available to download into the game, ready to go face-to-face with around 1,500 angry cyborgs.

Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have unveiled the full 19-minute Marvel's Avengers demo, showcasing the tutorial gameplay previously screened at E3 and San Diego Comic-Con.
Watch the video above to see the demo in action, as it follows the gameplay among all of Marvel's Avengers' main playable characters — Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Black Widow, and Captain America. It is a tutorial level, though, and so you can expect full missions to play out a bit differently rather than this level, which is clearly designed as an introduction to the cast and their powers. And if you're wondering what it feels like to actually play the 2020 Marvel ensemble adventure, IGN went hands-on with Marvel's Avengers at Gamescom 2019, offering us a much better sense of the game than we had previously.
Yakuza Remastered Collection Announced, Yakuza 3 Remaster Is Available Now
Yakuza 3, 4, and 5 are coming to North America for the PlayStation 4 as part of the brand new Yakuza Remastered Collection.
The Yakuza Remastered Collection was revealed during IGN’s Gamescom live show earlier today. The Collection updates the three Yakuza titles in 1080p and 60fps all for the PlayStation 4.
The Yakuza Remastered Collection will be released in protracted fashion. So, Yakuza 3 will be available today on the PlayStation 4, but Yakuza 4 will unlock on October 29, and Yakuza 5 will unlock on February 11, 2020.
Yakuza 3 was released on the PlayStation 3 in Japan back in 2009 and continues the saga of Kazuma Kiryu. Like previous installments of the Yakuza series, Yakuza 3 centers on a central, Yakuza-related conflict. But as usual, players can take Kazuma on a variety of side quests and extra missions.
Mario and Sonic at the Olympics Will Let You Play as 2D Characters
SEGA has announced that Mario and Sonic at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics will allow players to compete as the classic 2D pixelated versions of the characters across multiple events. Check out the trailer below to see them in action.
In the new trailer, characters like Mario, Sonic, Luigi, Bowser, Princess Peach, Knuckles the Echidna, Eggman, Tails, and Toad can be seen in their classic 2D pixelated forms performing in various sporting events. 2D versions for other characters like Amy and Yoshi aren’t yet confirmed.
SEGA says that these 2D characters can compete in 10 different events: The 100m dash, the 10m dive, 400m hurdles, vaulting, judo, the 1000m kayak dash, the long jump, a marathon race, trap shooting, and team volleyball. Not only are the characters 2D, but the arenas the events take place in are changed into 2D as well. SEGA says those 10 events are meant to represent the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
The 25th James Bond Film is Officially Called No Time to Die
The 25th James Bond 007 film is officially called No Time to Die, and it will be released in theaters in the UK on April 3, 2020, and in the U.S. on April 8, 2020.
No Time to Die will will be Daniel Craig's fifth adventure as Ian Fleming's James Bond and is being directed by True Detective's Cary Joji Fukunaga.

Gears 5 Preorder Guide for the UK: Everything You Need to Know
The next instalment of Gears of War is simply going to be called Gears 5 and will be released on September 10 on Xbox One and PC. There are plenty of reasons to jump into the new Gears game, and it's now easier than ever to do so, considering it will be available on Game Pass on the day of release, and four days earlier if you have Game Pass Ultimate.
The latest edition of the cover shooter series will focus on Kait Diaz and continues the story surrounding the human struggle against an alien threat. It will feature five game modes, including a deep campaign, and a brand new 'Escape' mode. Escape is a high stakes co-op mode that features three characters on a suicide mission to rid Swarm hives from Sera.
Spider-Man: Far From Home Returning to Cinemas With New Footage
Sony Pictures has revealed a Spider-Man: Far From Home re-release will be swinging on to the big screen later this month.
Variety confirmed the extended version of the Tom Holland-led superhero flick is set to feature approximately four minutes of all-new footage consisting of a "never-before-seen" action sequence.
Sony announced the new cut will debut in theatres across the United States and Canada on August 29, just in time for Labor Day weekend, and will be available in IMAX format at select locations.
