Remedy has announced that four DLC updates will be available for Control in the coming months, adding a variety of new modes and story expansions.

See what we thought of Remedy's latest in our Control review video above.

Control’s upcoming content roadmap begins this fall with a photo mode, allowing players to pause the game and take photographs of Jesse in the Oldest House. Following in December is Expeditions, a new game mode in which Jesse must help Security Chief Arish explore the Formation. How to Properly Setup (and Calibrate) Your New TV

Televisions nowadays are normally pretty accurate right out of the box, but there are still some things you can (and should) do to maximize their performance and color accuracy. This can range from choosing the (generally) most accurate picture mode, to using a setup disc to adjust menu options, to getting a full-blown calibration with specialized equipment from a trained professional. On some inexpensive budget TVs your menu options might be more limited, missing color temperature for instance or maybe even restricted to just brightness control, but for sets over $500 these settings have thankfully become the norm. Let’s take a look at the options from the most basic to the most involved.

Joker writer and director Todd Phillips has revealed that the film was written for Joaquin Phoenix and no other actors were sought for the role of the classic DC comic villain.

However, while the film had been written with Phoenix in mind, convincing him took many months of conversation. “He was not keen on jumping into costume in any comic-book movie,” Phillips said.

Ubisoft Will Not Return to Creating Shorter Games Says CEO

Ubisoft will continue to focus on huge open-world games that take many hours to play, but has the goal to provide smaller-scale adventures within large worlds, says the company’s CEO.

Talking to gamesindustry.biz, Yves Guillemot said “No,” to the question of if the company would ever return to games of the scale of Assassin’s Creed Unity, in which the main story can easily be finished in around 15 hours. That’s a very brief trip compared to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, which on average takes up 60 hours of people’s time.

See what we thought of Ubisoft's biggest Assassin's Creed ever in our Odyssey review.
