Amazon Prime Now Includes Free Mobile Game Content
Amazon has announced that its Prime Members will now be receiving Mobile Game Benefits in games from "top mobile game publishers," and exclusive in-game content for PUBG Mobile will be the first of many gifts available.
PUBG Mobile players who are also Amazon Prime Members are now able to claim the exclusive stealthy Infiltrator Mask, and will soon also be able to add the Infiltrator Jacket, Infiltrator Pants, Infiltrator Shoes, the brand-new Blood Oath - Karabiner 98K, and the Black Magma Parachute.
“We’ve long been committed to making Prime the best deal in games, with great content for PC and console games from Twitch Prime, and now we’re offering our members even more value, with new mobile game benefits,” said Ethan Evans, VP, Twitch Prime. “Now, no matter what platform you play on—whether console, PC, or mobile—there are Prime game benefits for you. We’re starting with exclusive content for PUBG MOBILE one of the biggest mobile games in the world, and in the coming months, we’ll roll out benefits for some of the most popular mobile games across many favorite genres.”
What Zelda Should Nintendo Remake Next?
With the remake of The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening now out in the world and on Switches everywhere, it got us to thinking: what other Zelda game deserves a remake (or, at the very least, a remaster)?

Sure, we've got the original Zelda adventure on NES Classic and Switch Online. It's readily accessible, 35 years later (which rocks!). And yes, some people might find a remake of this classic blasphemous.
Fans Are Loving Apple Arcade
Apple Arcade (the mobile gaming subscription service for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and Mac) launched yesterday, and fan reactions so far are overwhelmingly positive.
The service costs $5 a month (though currently has a free one-month trial period) and includes 53 games at launch, all of which are ad- and microtransaction-free. While many were skeptical of Apple launching a gaming subscription service, it appears its appealing price and strong lineup of games has cast most fears away.

Miyamoto Asked Zelda Producer to Make Mario Maker-Style Zelda Game
The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening for Nintendo Switch is a faithful recreation of the original Game Boy adventure, except for perhaps one noticeable difference — the brand new Chamber Dungeon mode. Allowing players to arrange their own dungeons out of existing rooms from dungeons in the game, the mode isn’t quite the Super Mario Maker-esque “Zelda Maker” fans have been clamoring for. But, there’s a good reason why, according to longtime series producer Eiji Aonuma.
Speaking to IGN via email, Aonuma explained that, at one point in their regular discussions about upcoming Zelda games, Shigeru Miyamoto asked about the possibility of Mario Maker-like gameplay for a Zelda game.
Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell Team for Musical Reimagining of A Christmas Carol
A Christmas Carol is getting a musical update from the team behind Daddy's Home.
Per THR, Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell will star in the musical reimagining of the classic Christmas tale. Sean Anders and John Morris, who recently penned the script for Daddy's Home 2, will write and direct the adaptation.
No word yet on a release date — THR reports that the package is currently being shopped to different studios. This will be the first time Will Ferrell and Ryan Reynolds have worked together since 1999's Dick, starring Kirsten Dunst and Michelle Williams.
Untitled Goose Game Began as a Workplace Slack Joke
The goose is finally loose. Untitled Goose Game was released today for Nintendo Switch and PC, and a tweet that seemingly depicts how this strange stealth game about a goose got made is circulating the internet.
A tweet from 2016 by Michael McMaster, a developer on Untitled Goose Game, seemingly depicts a work Slack conversation that led to the creation of Untitled Goose Game. On August 10, 2016, McMaster shared several screen captures from the House House Slack. The conversation began when Stuart Gillespie-Cook messaged the group saying, “Let’s make a game about this,” and posted a picture of a goose.
The chat quickly devolved into a full-length conversation about the pros, and single con, of geese.
Rambo Author Calls Last Blood ‘A Mess’
Critics have been pretty tough on the newest Rambo movie, but not as tough as author and John Rambo creator David Morrell. Morrell blasted Rambo: Last Blood on Twitter today, calling the sequel "a mess" and saying he's "embarrassed" to be connected to it.
Morrell tweeted in response to a USA Today story rounding up the mostly negative critical response to Last Blood, writing, "I agree with these RAMBO: LAST BLOOD reviews. The film is a mess. Embarrassed to have my name associated with it."

First Detail For Borderlands 3’s Halloween Event, Bloody Harvest
Gearbox has revealed the first details for Bloody Harvest, the first limited-time event for Borderlands 3 since the game was released. As the name implies, Bloody Harvest is a spooky event complete with new enemies, areas, and, of course, gear.
During The Borderlands Show, Gearbox’s new monthly web show for Borderlands news, Borderlands 3 creative director Paul Sage revealed the first look at Bloody Harvest. The Halloween-themed event will be released next month and is the first of several free, limited-time events coming to the game. So anybody with a copy of Borderlands 3 can look forward to getting spooked.
Smallville’s Lois Lane to Appear in Crisis on Infinite Earths
Another major Smallville character is taking part in the Arrowverse's Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover. Hot on the heels of the news that Tom Welling is playing Clark Kent again, The CW announced Erica Durance will also reprise her role as the Lois Lane of the Smallville universe.
The CW confirmed Durance will appear in multiple episodes of the crossover. As with Welling's Clark, Crisis will show fans what's become of Durance's Lois ten years after the series finale of Smallville.
This won't actually be Durance's first time appearing in the Arrowverse. She previously played Alura Zor-El in Supergirl: Season 3. It'll be interesting to see if Kara points out the resemblance between her mother and this alternate universe Lois during the crossover.
