Lady Gaga Replies to Ninja Perfectly
Update 10/16:
After getting over 860k likes on her Twitter post that simply asks "What's fortnight," Lady Gaga is at it again, now asking ". @Ninja who are you" - because it's 2019, and the internet is an increasingly strange place.
Ninja, of course, is a highly-popular Fortnite streamer and internet personality, who happened to have the most popular comment on Gaga's initial post. Mother Monster is either having some fun with the internet, or was genuinely curious who this Ninja guy was. Regardless, Ninja was soon to reply to Gaga's latest inquiry, writing "ask @Drake."

Venom 2 Reportedly Adding Carnage Ally Shriek as Additional Villain
Marvel villain Shriek is reportedly joining forces with Woody Harrelson's Carnage for Venom 2.
The studio is looking at unknown actors to fill the part, according to Deadline, but those involved with the process are allegedly keeping their minds open to any actress for the role. Deadline says principal photography is expected to begin early 2020 for a release on Oct. 2, 2020.
Shriek (real name Frances Barrison) is a mutant whose powers were awakened after being shot in the head and exposed to the energy of the Darkforce Dimension. She can manipulate sound waves in various ways, including firing destructive blasts and even preying upon the emotions and fears of her enemies. Oh, and she can fly.
Logan’s James Mangold Still Wants to Direct X-23 Spinoff Movie
The X-Men may be in the process of migrating to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but director James Mangold is still hopeful he'll get the chance to direct a sequel to 2017's Logan.
In an interview with The Playlist, Mangold reaffirms his desire to continue where Logan left off and explore the fate of Dafne Keen's X-23 in a sequel. Though even Mangold admits to being doubtful that sequel will ever materialize, given Disney's recent purchase of 21st Century Fox. That's to say nothing of Keen's current commitment to the HBO series His Dark Materials.
Marvel Promotes Kevin Feige to Chief Creative Officer
The architect of the Marvel Cinematic Universe just got a big promotion: Kevin Feige has been named Chief Creative Officer, Marvel.
According to Deadline, this means Feige will now oversee the creative storytelling direction of not just the movies but all TV, animation and publishing efforts. He will remain president of Marvel Studios. Marvel TV and Marvel Family Entertainment, which produces Marvel’s live-action and animated TV shows, respectively, are being moved under the Marvel Studios banner.
Deadline reports that Feige’s new position will see all creative executives reporting to him; Marvel Entertainment President Dan Buckley will report to Feige on all publishing creative and editorial endeavors, and also continue to oversee publishing operations, sales, creative services, games, licensing and events, where he'll still be reporting to Marvel Entertainment Chairman Ike Perlmutter. Joe Quesada will still report to Buckley in his role as EVP and creative director for Marvel Entertainment. Feige will continue to report to Walt Disney Co-Chairman and Chief Creative Officer Alan Horn and Co-Chairman Alan Bergman.
Call of Duty: Mobile’s Microtransactions Could Be Worse
Given the Call of Duty series’ less-than-sterling reputation when it comes to loot boxes, and the long history of cash-hungry “free-to-play” games turning out to be overly aggressive with their monetization – especially on smartphones – a free-to-play, mobile version of Call of Duty sounds like a perfect storm of microtransactions. Surprising no one, Call of Duty: Mobile is chock full of opportunities to spend money, ranging from season passes to full-on shameless loot boxes, and some of these can be downright predatory. At the same time, it’s not as bad as it could be.
There are two forms of currency in Call of Duty: Mobile: Credits and COD Points. Credits are the currency you can earn by playing, and they’re about as useless as you would expect. I’m certainly not the best Call of Duty player, but in my 10 or so hours of playtime I’ve only earned a little over 1,000 Credits. A weapon skin in the store can cost anywhere from 1,500 Credits for a more common skin, to 20,000 for the rarest available skin, the M4LMG - Black Gold. If you extrapolate that out, at my pace you’d have to play for roughly 200 hours to earn the most coveted skin.
Google Pixel 4 and Google Pixel 4 XL Hands-On Impressions
The Google Pixel 4 has to be the world’s worst kept secret. However, despite months upon months of rumors, early hands-on videos, and leaks by Google itself, it has been the Android phone I’ve been desperately waiting to get my mitts on.
This new flagship handset is the most substantial reinvention of the Pixel phone since its inception. Among the things Google has changed here, this device features a new design, a new telephoto camera, and a built-in radar.
But before we get too into the weeds, let’s talk about how this new phone looks and feels. With the Pixel 4, Google has gone away from the two-tone smooth glossy and textured matte design. In its place, the phone now has a prominent black bumper that wraps around the edges.
